It looks so good! LizSews has lots of bra making ideas and tips. I bought 2 bra making kits a few years ago but have been nervous about making them. I think 2024 is my year to push myself too!

You were so cute through this! This was me in 2019 and then after I completed my first bra, I was kicking myself for not teaching myself years earlier! Now you can make pretty much anything with a supportive internal bra!
Congratulations!!!! I came to second the recommendation to binge Liz Sews on RU-vid. Also, Beverly Johnson's basic bra course on Craftsy, which is how I learned. Her patterns have stitch details, too; not sure if there are others that detailed. Finally, if your fabrics all get sucked into the bobbin case when you're starting a seam, grab a roll of adding machine or similar flimsy paper and put that under the bra parts next to the needle plate. It will tear right away.
Love this! I started sewing underwires bras when Cashmerette released the Willowdale pattern. Yes the special fabrics are different (and essential) but bra sewing is so creative and fun. Lace placement is absolutely a thing! Buy some more kits and enjoy!

Have you considered making a bra with various straps, such as the halter, criss cross, racer back or even strapless😊? At least the good news 📰 is you can have a bra that will fit you in the colors and patterns of your choice with panties to match😊. Congratulations on making your first ever bra😊. GIRL!!! You got this!!! You have followed sewing patterns for years. Fabric and thread! Some fitting muslins. You’ve done all this. You got this! And I have attended the Bra Sewing Bee 3-4 years and made a couple of bras so far, and undies. This is an amazing resource. The designer of the Sahara is amazing. Take ALL Monica and Nikki’s classes!!!
First time I tried making one for my wife I managed to sew the one cup in backwards about three times, and wound up completely confuzzled by it (though in my defense I was trying to burrito the seams so they weren't sticking out lol) until I realized I was doing the second one backwards lol then it went entirely better on the next one lol As for turning it into a dress of sorts, I'd maybe add a full bodice on in place of the lower frame (there's lots of bustier and cupped corset patterns you could kit-bash together for it) before I sewed the skirt on, but that's just me. Or just take the pattern pieces you have, put them on some longer paper, and just extend the pattern down till it hits your desired measurements, and VOILA! instant bodice pattern (Warning: some pattern math required, but there's lots of sew-alongs out there to teach you how to do that).
