I like that "Destroy" sound. I could mount that to my mobile gun base and have it running around the yard yelling destroy, destroy. Should keep unwanted guests and the neighbors away. and confuse the cops.

Very nice. I think you are right and an mp3 player with sd is cheaper like $1.50 but expense of sd card and corruption possiblility makes it only good for temporary projects. I am still debating using it as I have a few. They also sell a vesion with a chip instead but maybe is only limited to 10? I think chinese tts modul would be better as its almost as clear and vocabulary is unlimited as well as gives feedback over uart to whether or not a sound is already playing or is already done like the XFS5152, its also cheaper. You can also just load the files on external flash chip and play them. I am curious what chip he is using on this board, maybe we can just burn our own chip with project specific files. Any idea on the chip number? I'll look into it too.
