When I was first practicing as a super beginner, I went through the alphabet and added a second letter of the alphabet to it all the way through, just so I could know how to go into letter combos. Example: aa, ab, ac... df, dg, dh... so on and so on.
I liked this tutorial. I’m not a complete beginner anymore but I still had the question of how do I connect these letters. I like watching videos of someone else writing because I can see how they hold their marker. I wasn’t making any progress until I changed the way I was holding my marker.
Thank you! You should do a video series (like your Pen A Day Challange) comparing brush pens! ☆Examples:☆ •Brushables vs Fudebiyori •Stabilo vs Fibralo •Karin vs Sharpie Stained •Pentel vs Tombow Fudenosuke •Winsor and Newton vs Ecoline vs Camlin •Zebra Funwari vs Zebra Disposal •Sakura Koi vs Fudebiyori •Tombow Dual Tip vs Artist's Loft vs Zebra vs Amazon Basics
I always struggle connecting two Os and v and e for some reason Like my “have” and “food” look weird And just connecting anything after Ps and before Ss
I really struggle with any transition into or out of "m" and "n". I also have trouble with transitioning into "k" and "h". Do you have any worksheets for helping to smooth out those transitions? I think its because those letters all start with a straight up stroke, but when you get to the bottom of the first straight line you don't continue it out in a loopy way, you have to reverse and go back up the straight line.
Hello Suzy, I struggle with writing my name Petra , the upper P in combination with the lower e. Do you have some tips or practice sheets for this combination? I enjoy your videos. Greatings from Petra, the Netherlands.
Hi Petra! Thanks so much for watching! I think in that case, I would not connect the capital P and lower case e. I think I would just break them apart and letter it that way. Many times (maybe most times?) I don't think it's necessary to connect capital letters to the next letter in the word, but especially with the 'Pe' combination because I think your P may end up looking like an R. I hope that helps!
