I’m enjoying your videos. They seem more geared towards players like me, who… while not completely new to PoE, don’t know all the minute details. You break it down Barney style. Thanks.
just a small advice if u are able make sure to get invitations to 70% quant and then vaal, cuz 70+ quant gives chance to get upwards of 8 splinters pr invitation, i rarely get under 7 while doing this and just gives a bit more in the long run :)
About the top right corpse nodes: Our best bet in knowing what meta-corpses means is on the trade site. You can take a look, its a bunch of stuff that isnt particularly valuable. It doesnt include the additional craft which is the big corpse. So it would seem that taking those nodes reduces your odds at getting corpses that are more valuable (since it only changes what drops, it doesnt give omre corpses). Again, just our best guess based on the trade site. Could save a bunch of nodes.
im running Influenced Scarab of conversion + Carthography scarab of singularity combo with this strategy it works together converting chunk of unique maps into guardian maps :p
@@PathofEvening mostly because I used it early when unique maps sold for 20 to 30c, stopped using it when they dipped, but then felt like something was off!
I might have missed it in the vid. Is there a list of the 10 easiest maps for directionally- challenged people that don't like running circles hehe? :)
How do you juice the maps themselves? Do you push for as much difficulty or keep it simple? The shrine bosses, do you kill as you go or is there a way / reason to have wildwood affect those too?
You can juice the maps if you want, but we kept it simple. Same goes for the Shrine bosses. They will get affected by wisps, but clearing everything else out can eat a lot of time. Probably not worth it.
I don’t understand using meat sacks on increased drop chance modifiers ? I feel like you want dense packs like frogs and meat sacks are just “ 1-3 big tough guys”. Can anyone explain?
If you have a modifier that makes the strongest monster in the pack have increased drops, or converted drops, putting a meatsack or a rogue exile in that slot will significantly increase those drops.
Thanks for this atlas strategy, this was exactly what I was looking for! I made a trapper this league and felt like it was impossible finding a bossing strategy with all the abused t17 rouge exile/strongbox farms. I'm excited to try running this. Relatively new, to bossing atlas... What maps did you favorite and run?? Thanks in advance!
You run shaper guardian maps (or elder/conqueror maps): minotaur, hydra, chimera and phoenix with Maven Influence. After you kill each one of them once with maven witnessing you get an invitation from Kirac that will get you some nice stuff and then you repeat again.
@@TheFinQ ohh, that makes sense, I've been following singular focus atlas tree's, so I forgot favored maps don't matter all the time lol. thanks for the reply!
@@awk578 Singular focus bricks this strategy as conq and elder maps will be limited only to your favourite maps which means a lot less of them will drop.
Would love to try this strategy; unfortunately I can't fight the Maven as nor the guardians as I've never seen the option to finish the Atlas invitation. Just how does doing them through Kirac work? I've had her witness over 30 Atlas bosses w no notification or option changes appear w Kirac. Hope I'm just not seeing something or my game appears to be bugged
@@PathofEvening Figured it out; I had to approach him inside my hideout, I'd just been accustomed to interacting w him in Karui where it doesn't appear for some reason
What’s the best drop you got from boses to make it worth it? So far I’ve run 10 maps using this method and haven’t got anything extra besides maps and making them a lot harder doesn’t seem worth it yet.
Awakened Gems were probably the single most valuable boss drop, but mainly it's about them just dropping a wide variety of valuable items. Don't underestimate how valuable map drops are!
Hi, great videos! But i have question: why "Shaping the Skies" or "Shaping the Mountains" is giving you more maps? It's chance to become 1 tier higher, how it's giving more? Am i missing something?
Its not exactly giving more map drops, but its making the map dropped be of higher tiers so it makes it easier to sustain. Im not sure if it also affects the elder/shaper/conq/synth maps since those maps have a minimun tier.
I'm no expert by any means, but I am aware that there's kind of a 'pity' system with how maps drop called map equity. Basically when you complete a map you get a 'credit' for its tier, with each tier being three times as valuable as the preceding. The more equity you have built up the more likely you are to drop maps in general, with drops decrementing the equity count according to their tier (up to one level higher than the zone you're in). What the 'Shaping' nodes offer is basically a free upgrade after all of that, so if you were going to drop say a T15 map and the upgrade procs then you get a T16 instead which behind the scenes is three times as valuable as the equity it cost. What this means is over time it's far easier to sustain and over-sustain with those upgrades, allowing you to progress your atlas and not run out of your highest tier of maps. The one noteworthy thing in 3.24 is that T17s ignore this upgrade chance, those are strictly regulated by the number of voidstones you have slotted in your atlas AFTER the game determines a T16 is going to drop.
@@PathofEvening You're thinking about it wrong. You don't sell them, you use them. You use them until you get the doubling craft, then churn out 5-10 Perandus Pact jewels in one craft. It's insanely profitable and leaving them on the ground is throwing away easy money. But hey, if that's what you want to do, more for me I guess.
This was already my strategy minus Terror I think, made a good chunk of div and chaos from boss drops for shaper elder. Conq maps were just easy chaos for 30+c a map.
scarab was 10/12c 4 days ago now it's 4/DIVINE so just a normal 400% increase in price and you find them so hard to buy. the terrors one. others are ok. btw i had to edit this buut what you said is true. i ran my 20 maps with this strat and got back 45 maps and that's just countin the influenced ones. the maps you get are insane from this strategy
@@itstysonpham I would run Padnemonium for map bosses in packs, terrors for map bosses with shrines, then 2 of any of the following (not sure which is most min-maxed) Domination for more shrines, Cartography for 50% more maps, Duplication for maps to be be doubled, or influencing scarab of conversion of more of the expensive maps. Again not sure what is the most optimal, I would buy a bunch of pandemonium and terrors, and then just fill in with others I had quite a few of. Even dabbled with the unique maps scarab. They sell, but only in 1 offs like the video mentions so a bit tedious to sell.
@@PathofEvening I mean you get at least 50c more per cycle. I didnt count how much longer does it take however I believe its no more than 3-4 mins per cycle thus better profit. But I might be wrong (like you may squezee one more cycle in an hour if you are doing shaper)
If you run your MA setup as a damage skill, you have to use Lifetap to zero out the mana cost. This means you're really only using a 4-link. Because of that, it's better as a utility setup with TR of Withering, Frenzy, and Ensnaring Arrow all supported by Culling Strike & GMP.
Good luck getting that 30c terror scarabs, even buying it 1 at a time hardly you can get someone to sell it, you must have got the prices thru poe ninja.
