But you need to know that though the Lord will always forgive us when we turn to him in repentance, that does not always mean he takes away the consequences of our sins. Many people turn to the Lord in prison. They have a new inward life, but they continue to serve their sentences.
I don't know what the danger is, but I know He teaches us and grows us and disciplines us in His love as a result of sin. I pray for your protection, clinging to Christ, and trusting His forgiveness and love for you.
