The S14 was in much need of some headlight sense restoration. And man is there a huge difference. The taillights on the other hand... Thats another story. But we did make bit of an improvement.

Sand them and increase the grit until you get to 2000 and then polish.

cleaning tin off taillights, use laquer thinner and rub it on with a cloth until cleaned off then give them a quick buff and youre solid

Gasoline on a rag will strip it right off. Better than paint thinner in my experience. I tried everything and nothing but that worked. The gas stripped it right off.

Throttle body cleaner will get the tint off i accidentally blacked my tail lights out and had to get it off and it worked for me

I used Gunk chlorinated brake clean with a rag and it wiped off on my hatches tailights which were tinted pretty much black.. Make sure its chlorinated though I didnt have luck with the non chlorinated.

Guys do what i did, paint your real taillights with actually real car clearcoat! Makes them factory new. Note: only works on plastic lights not glass!

Try gritty toothpaste, no splash on the paint if you leave the lights in. Works better than brake cleaner.. that you shouldn't ever use on lights, it'll cloud them up even more

Goof off is nothing to goof around with lol. but no seriously that stuff is STRONG BUT itis meant for paint and making it easier to remove but leave it on there for a bit or put a damp rag over it and lit it sit for at least one SOLID minute 5 are better

Wet sand the tail lights. My old Z came with pretty dark tinted tail lights and I just wetsanded the tint off. Polished and waxed them and they looked OEM and brand new

sand both front and rear lights with 600 use prep sol to clean them up spray a bit of bulldog clear plastic adhesion promoter and clear those suckers they will come out brand new

Normally with good off you spray it on a shop rag or towel and rub the shit out of whatever you're trying to take off. Just simply so you message the chemicals into whatever paint is on there to eat it away

To clean your headlights get warm water and mix some baking soda and get a tooth brush or any brush-like thing and scrub

Thinner with red scuff then hit it with 1000 wet sand paper then 2000 sand paper to remove the 1000 scratches then polish 3 times or 4 times then swirl remover

I'm taking a guess that they tinted the tails with tinted clear. Therefore sand until the tinted clear is gone then polish. Probably better off to trade someone

TIP: spray this onto a microfibre cloth and go in circular motions letting it sit sometimes won’t work

Wet sand them, with a lot of water and soap and 600-1000 grit, should remove the tint. I had a friend that tried it and it removed it enough for him to peel it more or less

i used mothers aluminium polish on my yellowed headlights only thing i had,didnt want to go out and buy stuff and it worked really well that is after i wet sanded them with 800 fine grit sand paper

You needed to scrape it off with a razor be careful not to scratch the lights. Also I used a tint remover that comes with a razor.

Go through different grits of sandpaper from like 220 water sandpaper up to 1500 then buff them

I've acidentally gotten breaks clean on a car and instantly before i could even process what happened it drive right up into a haze and dug into the clear coat. Wound up having to cut and buff it.

My taillight were completely tinted black like that, I used gasoline and a metal woll blue cleaning pad and scrubbed the tinted off, it didn't damage the lights either. Worked amazing.

Im pretty sure the tail lights have the tint layer that you heat up and apply, rather than the spray can tint. Thats probably why the brake cleaner and goof off arent working, so id try heating it up and try pealing it!
