I really like how you _included_ your mistakes in the final video. Messing up is a very important part of the make process -- everyone does it -- and it gets left out of RU-vid videos far too often. How to *fix* your mistakes is also crucial information to know (which you also included in the video, yay!). Thumbs up!

Greetings and salutations from the High Plains of South Dakota!! Just returned from our winter digs in Arizona, a rather eventful trip that cost us a Jeep Liberty, but we and our motor home came through without a scratch so not so bad anyhow. The brief intro done with, I just wanted to thank you very much for building this radio! I have been dreaming of a way to do just this, well and a bit more, I want to add XM Satellite Radio to the build, so I can have an all in one FM/XM in a small package that can sit on a shelf in our motor home while we tour the US in our old age. We are both retired and have nothing but time on our hands now days. I had ordered the TEA5767 before we got home, and it was waiting for me on the kitchen table when we arrived (our grown daughter has been house sitting for us over the winter). Right now I have a surplus of Arduino Nano's as I ordered 2 lots of 5 on a big sale deal with an eBay seller last year (what was I thinking??) I have started her up and hooked it to a Uno and found that the board appears to work (We live in an FM Free zone in SD, if I go outdoors I can, on a good day pick up one station, but when we travel, FM seems to be everywhere else.) I have been looking for a few days now for the perfect setup to use parts I have on hand, and found yours! I should have known, when you want a project done RIGHT, go to GREAT SCOTT and he has probably already built it! Again, thanks a million for the great projects, I love the way you put things together, and you go deep enough into the subject that I learn something every time I watch one of them.

Cool. But I already have a cheap and more compact radio from Radio Shack (and I don't live in US). It's a nice project, but how about making a diy radio transmitter/broadcaster? Just like those car usb mp3 fm modulators, but this should use an audio jack-in to play music from a phone or something, to your car audio system (or any close radio for that matter). Now, if I think again, I think I will make this project one day myself, but it would be great if GreatScott! features this project in a video.

+danijel124 I know it's an 18650. I call them Lipo's, generalising the bunch a bit. Key is that the mosfets on de charge board get very hot when pushing 1A (default setting) This heat permeates through the pcb. That why I never glue them to a "Lipo" Btw if you use hot glue, it wil melt.
