It all started with an Instagram reel that caught my eye, showcasing the art of making your own jewelry in Bali. I couldn't resist the allure of this creative adventure, so Vic and I headed off to explore whether making jewelry in Bali was as amazing as it seemed.
Our journey began in Canggu, and after a scenic 2-hour drive, we found ourselves in the village of Sidemen, Bali. It was there that we stumbled upon the very same silver shop featured in that captivating Instagram reel. You know how it goes when you see something online - you're never quite sure if it lives up to the hype in real life. So, determined to find out, we jumped right in.
To my delight, it turned out to be one of the best activities during my three-week Bali trip. The icing on the cake? The business was a warm, family-owned affair, with some of the loveliest folks you could ever meet. They took us under their wing and guided us through the fascinating process of making our very own silver rings from scratch.
