Good video! I set my fence to be +.002" away from the blade on the outfeed end to minimize burn marks caused by the back of the blade rubbing the material as it exits the cut. Love your new saw!

Hi, Did the manufacture give you this information? Sounds like a good fix. Just curious if the solution affects any other actions on the saw?
@vw0514

@@steven6068 Delta recommended this on the Unisaw with the Unifence. All curring occurs at the front of the blade, and any material removed at the back of the blade is detrimental to accuracy, part finish, and can result in kickback.

It's a Sawstop. It's the one table saw on the market that you can count on being ready to use on assembly. Mine was.

During your 5th tip when you adjusted the blade angle adjustment wheel, how did you know they were out of adjustment with relation to the blade itself? Did you use your Woodpecker between the blade and table? Or did you use a digital angle finder just on your blade. Fantastic video as always, great tips! Thank you
@woodworkingwithSkyler
@woodworkingwithSkyler 3 месяца назад
Thank you. I used the digital angle finder. I used it ones, 5 minutes later tried again, got same measurements. Then put the blade back at 90 and them measured again 90 and 45. Results were the same. I trust my digital angle I been using it to set my 45 for last year for making small boxes and I never had any problems with it

I’m confused it was zeroed out (the fence) and you said it was 0.02 when you moved it to the back. But when you moved it to the front again it was 0.04. Where did the discrepancy come from?

Some good advice. I don't care for the Saw Stop saw, I have a Delta, but the procedure is the same.
