I love that last dress! The 1960’s are my favorites! I’m just surprised I don’t remember that pattern! 1965 was the year I graduated from 8th grade and started high school in the fall. It really brings back memories! Anyway, I love the two fabrics you put together - the second fabric just really sets it off! ❤️🙏🏻

I want to thank you for inspiring me to sew for MYSELF! I loved sewing as a hs student but the last apparel project I sewed was a maternity jumper in 1981. You have given me the thought to if this doesn’t turn out and I won’t wear it, then donate. Thank you 😊

Hey Viv-thanks for the video. Your makes are nice-I’m sure you’d win best dressed at the dog park! 😊. I’d commented on your last video about having lost my son and now trying to find sewing inspiration-so I’m back to tell you’ve I’ve sewn! 😊. No garments yet but I’ve made a couple of receiving blankets-those self binding ones and burp cloths to match. I used to make those and a friend needed a baby shower gift, so I sewed them up for her. It felt good to be back at my sewing machine! I’m sure garment sewing will come eventually but right I’m getting my garden space ready to plant-which is something I enjoy and had in common with my sweet son. I wanted to tell you that you told us about Kwik sew patterns and I never heard of this, BUT I found one in a thrift store and yesterday I made a pair of shorts that took about half hour! These patterns are great, Thank you SO much. And I LUV your dog walking outfit and your dog, so so happy you got a dog.
