Holy cow, this video wasn't boring, I almost passed out watching it! I was sitting at my sewing machine sewing WITH THE EXACT SAME HEART FABRIC that you have. I bought 7 yards of it, and I am making the Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dress from Vogue Patterns. I'm wearing it to Easter service tomorrow. I thought the hearts would represent my love of Christ. Heck, I'd never wear your dress to the dog park. It's too pretty. Sounds like you've been bitten by dog love. Dogs are proof of God. Unconditional love and they force you play. Lucky you!

I love “not too exciting” clothes. I call this everyday clothes, wear at home clothes, babysitting day clothes. I don’t need a closet full of high fashion.

Hi Viv! You crack me up….clothing for going to the dog park! How fun! But I loved all your makes. Everything looks so good on you😊I hope you keep doing your channel because it makes it so helpful to see these patterns made up in real life and modeled on a real live person ( not just a drawing, picture, or on a hanger). And best of all, your assessment of the pattern, instructions, and fabrics you chose are SO helpful. I had to laugh too because I am like you in that I’ll sit for weeks and do no sewing ( or quilting) and just look at my patterns and dream up of what I should make next and then maybe I’ll get one thing made that month 🥺 So much for ALL that sewing I was going to get done when I retired! I liked the makes and didn't think they were boring at all. If anything they seemed to challenge and keep you on your toes. After the crazy directions and not so great fabric let downs you mention, girl you need a vacation just to recuperate!!! Lol. I did love the baby outfits, doggy outfit from apron pattern (genius idea) and the dress- pattern and fabric choice. You did pretty good to me and can't wait to see what you do next as always. Whether you sew one piece or 20, I enjoy them, your skill and your input. One day I hope to get there. Thank you for taking the time.
That green outfit would be super cute and comfortable with a pair of sandals to do errands. My wardrobe consists of mostly plain clothes, so this video wasn't wasted on me! And you always brighten my day!😊
I am so excited. I have been watching you since you started on RU-vid. I am 80 and have not sewn for decades because I could never fit myself. I am 5 foot six and 155 pounds. When I watch you and realize that you break all the rules about fitting and zippers and fabric, I decided to take the plunge and ordered a whole lot of fabric from fabric mart because you always give such rave reviews. I even got free shipping. Woo hoo. I have decided to begin again as a newbie and make summer tops out of wovens instead of buying the usual Walmart V-neck tees. I have pinned so many variations of the tops that you make, and I am even going to go so far as to do a mock up. I can't tell you how excited I am about this with all the encouragement you always give. Will keep you updated.🎉😊

You are not boring, Viv. Quite the opposite, in fact. Thank you filming this video because you introduced me to the Simplicity Jiffy apron pattern. I love how you wear it as a top and I think it looks quite nice on you. I would also like to say that wardrobe consultants are advocates for having good basics as the building blocks for highly functioning wardrobes.
Vivian why not make last pair of pants cargo pants? yes cut smaller too. that apron wash in Coca Cola. No detergent. I hear to do that for denim too. Otherwise I think you did well.

Love them all. The linen heart dress has a nice subtle balloon silhouette to the skirt which is nice. It’s great. For the olive green tee, could you have just zig zagged 1/4 inch elastic on the center front allowance to create the stirring with less bulk maybe? It looks good though..

You always entertain! The lantern leg pants are so cute, I made some a couple years ago and I love them, especially during the summer. Mine are chambray and are a go to for everyday wear. They are really comfortable when traveling long distances in a car! Yours are adorable, and I bet you reach for them often.
