Makhanya Biscuits / Fresh Cream & Cumin Biscuits
Makes 25 Biscuits
For this recipe you will need:
220g Plain flour
125g cold grated butter
175ml cold fresh cream
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
Notes:
- 1st Bake at 180c for 12 minutes.
- 2nd Bake at 100c for about 2 hours or until fully crisp. Could take less time to crisp up.

Asalaam o alaykum sis. Jazakillah kher for this recipe. I have tried it and the taste was amazing. MashAllah TabarakAllah. The only i felt disappointed with is that mine didn't double in size like you mentioned they would. 😕 I have made them a couple of times but each time they have not doubled. The baking powder was fresh and so was the flour.

Mashallah very easy recipe was looking for this one thank you so much for sharing it btw do we have to cook at 100c for two hours? And wht gas number if i want bake?

Bake at 180c for 12 minutes. Then remove and bake again at 100c for about 2 hours just to crisp up.

Wslm. I have never baked these with ghee but im sure you can. Add the same amount of hard grated ghee instead of butter. Let me know how it turns out.
