@JohnHill Sick!! Well we do not have too many spots here compared to the Carolinas but if you are ever back on the east coast and find yourself in Richmond, I have all the pins :)
I just started getting back into skating a few months ago after moving to Richmond about a year ago. Just having access to nice skate parks between 28th street, Southside, and Texas Beach is crazy. I was at Texas Beach for the first time the other week. I never had access to even a decent skatepark in the small town I grew up in, so its been such an amazing vibe re-learning skateboarding in these parks after so many years off a board. Hats off to the people like you that have made it possible for us to have stuff like this to skate! Keep it up, maybe I will see ya around sometime!
What a completely standard obstacle not saying it sucks but if you've got that much money to build something wouldn't you try to build something that you can't find at any normal skate park I thought that was kind of the point of building diys
I fully understand that. But that was kind of the point about this. Richmond va has never had a skatepark with actual handrails. So Iv personally always wanted some. Maybe one day we will have parks with rails and hubbas that are actually good 🤞
