bro, I am Californian and I dream about moving out of state, when I do this is what i will be building in my back yard. Love it man so cool. such craftsmanship
skate ramps/boxes/quarters/kickers as vegetation planter boxes needs to be a thing. imagine growing a tree in your own planter, then making a skateboard out of it
I used to work with concrete (mostly sidewalks and driveways) and I used to hate it, but I've been seeing so many DIY concrete ramp videos lately that I kind of want to buy a couple bags and just start playing with it.
fuck, your making me feel guilty now. lol I have so much experience with concrete, my grand father owned his own company. I grew up working summers with him since young, I need to build some DIY stuff around my area. Problem is I live in a really privately owned city with a lot of Karen's lol and no one skates so id stand out if anyone saw me building shit. I cleaned a ditch out once to skate it and like people were filming me clean it and called the cops.
Awesome video. Great music choice -- nice and relaxing, while I sit back and try to learn. Recently build a wooden mini ramp in my yard, but have been curious about working with concrete. Very intimidating -- looks like a lot of very hard work!
thank you for uploading this! such a sick finish - when i get a house one day, ill come back to this and build own my corner quarterpipe in the backyard! cheers
This was dope that planter is beautiful and looks so fun. The thought of doing construction work has never interested me but this has me regretting not knowing how to do any.
Wow, your dirt looks amazing for gardening. Nice. Cool video stuffs. I'm an old school skater that mostly surfs and loves to garden as well as shred. Yeah dude!
The effort and craftsmanship you put into this along with the attention to detail was enjoyable to see and rare coming from something a skater has built. Nice work 👍🏼
this is literal art. like maybe im trippin but the juxtaposition of new plant life being at risk of being crushed and permanatley damaged at the hand of a human pasttime. These plants will grow to be whoever shapes them with every fall or misstep. Also it just looks really sick cause it matches ur pool and flows well with ur patio I dig this sm
This is sooo beautiful! I'm going to try this at my new house, as someone who really enjoys growing their own food and skateboarding I love it! 👏🙏🥰🙌💪♥️🙏👍 Well done kind sir, well done! 👏😌
Awesome job dude. Nice team effort on the float/trowel work for the transition. Always interesting seeing how things are tackled & constructed a bit differently between you guys in the US, & us here in the UK. Can't say I've ever seen a circular saw (skil saw) used for concrete cutting. It's always electric angle grinders or petrol disc cutters used here. Also, we tend to use solid concrete blocks, & concrete is mixed from grit sand, stone, & cement separately as opposed to ready to go concrete dry mix in a large bags (they are available, but just too costly).
