How to make a quick and pretty tarot pouch to protect your favorite deck. Using fabrics you have at home, we can do it in under 10 minutes here. Ready, set, go!
I think that is a great way to make a tarot/oracle card bag but cause your hands were in the way I missed what you did with the chamber but I am sure I will figure it out!!! :D
Great video!! I just subscribed, the only thing that I do not have is the sewing machine but I will price some and see if I can make that beautiful tarot bag. One question, is it possible to make it without the sewing machine.
I know this was a year ago, but considering I've seen this question on a lot of craft forums, I'm sure someone might still look for it: You can hand-sew, following the same directions that she provides in her video. It will take longer (it took me about an hour, but I was also watching TV), and if you haven't hand-sewn before then I would suggest practicing some basic stitches (easily found on youtube) on a scrap piece of fabric until you feel more comfortable. It's a little more challenging keeping your lines straight if you aren't used to hand sewing.
Great video. I'm planning on making a bag for my deck using soft leather. I do leather working. Do you happen to have any videos on making and designing a tarot card spread mat? I would like to make it out of cloth and be able to place it in the bag.
I'd love to see a picture of the leather deck when you're done! Sounds great! I do have directions on a Lenormand spread cloth, but not tarot. To fit in the bag, you'd have to forego any interfacing. Even a silk handkerchief might do the trick. Here is the link to the Lenormand cloth...you can modify for tarot. www.donnaleigh.com/apps/blog/show/21500246-make-your-own-lenormand-grand-tableau-spread-cloth
