I thought it was time to share a tutorial on how to make my unique drawstring bag design.
This bag has no open seams, is very sturdy and will last for years!
I hope you try this design (personal use only please) and see for yourself how fun and easy it is to make.

Finally there's a good stash busting tutorial that's not hexies or bunting 😅 I was able to make 14 bags for my sad, neglected decks sitting in their tuck boxes. I only spent $3 on the cording and made a large dent in my fat quarters over the last two weeks. 💜

I know I’m a year late. But you two? Too cute! Yall sound like me when I’m trying to teach my novice friends to sew. I have an abundance of fat quarters. Would this style be doable??? The decorative stitch to secure the channel? Genius! Straight stitch can be so boring. card board boxes don’t last that’s for sure. My cards need new comfy storage. Thank you so much for the gift!!! I also enjoy the pegan holidays. theres always different foods and festivals. ❤

You guys are cute! Do you have a tip (if it's not a secret haha) as to where to find "cute" fabric? I was hoping to make my first bag for the "witchling academy tarot" and I'm struggling to find any witchy fabric that's more "cute magical girl" than "spooky Halloween witch" if that makes sense. I sometimes get overwhelmed by some of the "specialty quilting cotton" stores so I figured it couldn't hurt to ask if you had a favorite.. :)

There are no secrets to finding the right fabric. I try to look only at the part that will be visible in the finished bag. When you're looking at a whole piece of fabric it can really overwhelm your senses and make it hard to imagine the finished piece. I also try to think outside the box. For example I found a really cute red and gold designed Christmas fabric that looked absolutely gorgeous when paired with a black liner for a witchy bag. I also really need to do a video on selecting fabric based on the pattern.
