Are you still exporting to a DAW, or are you finishing tracks in Maschine now that we have the Clips feature? I still haven't switched to using clips, I'm more used to exporting to Live and finishing the track there.
Low Heat Beats I think I make next track completely on M+, for the sake of it. Transient and limiter on master directly in M+ makes it sound proper right from the box. At least electronic/house track. Though I switched couple times to Maschine software, to make some arranging, renaming, beautifying with mouse, by opening M+ project directly from the sd card.
@@DAllanRixxTV Thanks man! I've picked up a few things over the years by just making beats and studying music theory basics. I wouldn't say I've "learned it", I've still got a lot to learn.
How did you use the keyboard into maschine...ive been trying to figure out how to use my launchpad to make melodies into masxhine but cant do it? Thanks
I still have some problems with draggin stuff from Maschine into Ableton.. If I have a lets say 4 bar loop I drag into Ableton and the dublicate it so it becomes 8 bars there will often be some "popping" were the bar 4 goes into bar 5 :-( Sorry my bad English.. Are my setting wrong in Ableton ?
Hey, just stepping into Lo-Fi music. Switching from Pro Tools to Ableton and thinking about which controllers and plug-ins should I buy to get started. I can see you own an Arturia Keylab Essential there, would you say is it a good choice to combine it with a dedicated drumming pad since it already comes with 8 pads? Would you still buy maschine software but to use it with a different controller like an Akai mpd 218? Great channel btw, just subscribed.
Thank you for subscribing! The pads on the Keylab Essential aren’t all that great tbh, I don’t really use them. I wouldn’t buy the Maschine software for using it with the MPD218.
recently found you videos and enjoying them alot. you inspired me to get a mk3! i have question for you. how did you learn the piano? did you start playing piano before or after you started producing? i would like to learn play the keyboard too, as it seems much more naturally for the ideas come out that way, instead of clicking midi notes in.
Thank you! Didn’t learn piano before I was making beats. I just learned a bit of theory and practiced a lot in the studio while producing. Still, I wouldn’t say I have “learned” it, I have a lot more to learn.
Do you ever finish tracks in just Maschine? I really don't see any one doing, always exporting to other daws to finish. Why? What if you don't want to do that?
It's definitely possible, just depends on how deep is your editing. The new clips update is a step in the right direction but I still prefer to edit and add transitions in Ableton. Also, I've been using Live for 12 years and it's not a problem for me, I work very fast there.
@@LowHeatBeats I really just started making music about five years ago, off and on. I don't mean to sound rude. I do this for fun. Just would like to do everything in maschine alone, thats why I bought it. But soon learned you have to do all this other stuff too.
@@professionalhater2809 Yeah, I get what you're saying. Now that they've added the new improvements to the arranger you can definitely finish your tracks in Maschine.
