It's best to wear safety glasses and nitrile gloves when handling these materials. The resin will sensitize your skin over time. The hardener is caustic, and you really don't want it in your eyes.

True, I should've weighed the wheel for comparison. Definitely some buttons are a consideration, but that's a future project.

Definitely not. But, I've only driven it for one day, and it was with my mum as a passenger, so perhaps not a good comparison.
