Finally a solution to my mini 30 rear sight. The only aftermarket sight I can find is a bulky bolt on "M1 wannabe" adjustable sight from "Tech Sights". I just want to keep it simple and utilize the existing clamp. I would gladly pay twice as much as they want for the tech sight to get what I want. Sometimes simpler is better. I've tried out the sight mount you made for me and it works great. Sight it in and forget it. Ghost ring works perfect for deer hunting in the woods. I added a little green phosphorescent paint to the front sight and the combo makes for a quick target acquisition. Thanks for your assistance and all your excellent videos.
Well hey buddy, I guess you dont know... But the old school fix to these old flip up sight was to replace them with WW2 era M1 Carbine adjustable sights. Just google M1 carbine sights for a Mini 14. All the info you need is out there.
