I got about 30 seconds in, and I thought, this can't be possible! No grommet or strain relief. Right there, you've demonstrated your incompetence. It should be pointed out that putting a box at the end of a damaged extension cord is fine, but there's a proper way of doing it. This is a beautiful demonstration of how not to do it.
This is a perfect example of someone that has no idea about the dangers he's shown all of us. Comments below are right on the spot. This guy counters that he fixed neutral, but did not address the many other parts that could cause this guy to take his last breath w/ no margin for safety. It is just amazing this stuff gets on with no spot checking. Over 4600 people have seen this. Hopefully none has followed these ludicrous directions.
Hey thank you for watching my videos and for your comment. It's a good thing to recycle and save the resources of the Earth. Good for you. Have a great day
My eyes just crossed. Please people do not do this. This is a death trap. Too many issues to list. Well I'm going to give you some.. Wire not connected to box with proper connector, stranded wire not approved for mounting under screws, box not grounded, etc, etc, etc. And last of all never bring one of these contraptions to a job site, it's a OSHA violation, and you don't want to burn down your job/house or kill your coworkers. Thank You and please stay safe.
@@paulmartin3482 Thanks for watching Paul. Very keen eye. But what you failed to notice was that the length of wires in the beginning when you noticed that cut on neutral wire and the length of the wires after that are two different lengths because I cut that part off. Please re-watch the video and you will notice that. Both you and your friend Sparky. Have a great day sir.

This guy needs to learn how to use a camera...then learn the basics in electronics..but most importantly put the right size gloves on for crying out loud!!!!
