The video and execution are good. The level of the music when you weren't talking was overpowering.

Hi, I believe that this lathe is identical to the one I've just acquired. Would you happen have an owners manual for this machine?

Hey! Finally found someone with the same lathe as mine. Will take your lead on making a back splash. Just wondering, what tool post are you using?

Hey sorry I didn’t reply yet, It is a bxa wedge style from accusize, it needed the base milling to fit in the compound as the threaded bar is bigger than the original. It was a kit with 5 tool holders that If I remember correctly they have 5/8 clearance in the holders for tools.

My little metal lathe came with a backsplash, but there are a couple of other things that make cleaning the swarth a bit easier. Removable chip tray for the bottom chip pan: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Q615prreExA.html Ways protector plate that attaches to left side of the carriage to keep crap and prevent damage: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cC_jhK_S540.html

@@fabricationfun1509 I went with this small removable ways cover plate and made two sizes- smaller one can be used with carriage stops or dial indicator holders or DROs. ( time 1:36 of this video) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-31qOp7atyC4.html Plates are just 1- 2mm steel plate held with 10-32 screws tapped into top of the left side of carriage. Also saw a couple videos on Digital DROs for tailstock and worked up this one made from inexpensive tire depth gauge- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sHcdEutcs5g.html Wish I had the room you to have to work in...
