Hi guys,
in this episode I will show you the making of the first prototype I built about 2 years ago, it was the prototype for the air intake cover kit.
The Air Intake Cover Kit is already copied by others, so I show you here how the original prototype was made.
Also check out the video of the inner part of the snorkel (it replaces the original inner part of the snorkel, and ensures that the air is still cleanly guided into the air filter. )
The powder coating has taken over as always my friend Marius from Powderforce

Excellent work! Throughout the video I see the bike covered in tons of tracking dots, are you using photogrammetry for custom design and fabrication? Just the other day I was (as a complete amateur fabricator but professional 3d artist) wondering if that was a realistic option for designing with decent tolerances

I use 3D scanners from Faro and 3DShining, I can scan here to 1/10mm accuracy, so it is enough to develop parts with it.
