Makes perfect sense to me to have a “mud room” or a “boot room” before going into the nice part of a home. You can strip out of dirty jackets and footwear before putting some slippers on.

The machete is a beast especially the lv6 version with mods ... it does the Lords work especially at night with an assassins build :)

I honestly think the third floor would be better. You have the balcony that connects both sides of the house and you have line of sight on the pit that is the bottom floor for molotov attacks and grenades. You just have to take out the central staircase and you are fine... although with such a tall building and so much structural damage to the bottom floor, you might want to add in some supports and make sure some of the walls are upgraded to concrete... no good living in a house where one wall removal brings down the entire structure.

I always go round the POI first and destroy all the doors. Then if it's a small/med sized one, run in one door, through the POI and out the other side, so I can fight the Zeds that have followed - outside (more space). Makes infested quests much easier.

Depending on the level the Enforcer Gloves will save a percentage of fuel use. I got level 6 and saves 50% on fuel use.

Hey Josh, I think scavenger armor adds inventory space. The suck thing is you'll have to give up your other armor until you find pocket mods.

GNS is using a Machete in his playthrough and it seems to have a high chance to dismember I believe those nerdy boots have springs on them instead of ice skate blades :P

@@yissnakklives8866agreed. Perk final forms are called swordsman and samurai. I am fine with no katana but any sword should be the final form honestly. A European executioner sword would be what I would pick.

I think it is funny. I just started over in the prefab 8k #1 map (it is huge). I'm on day 5. I was doing so good because I had a really nice base all built up for horde night, but after finding Jen was 3KM away, I had to build a new base and move everything... in ONE trip on a bicycle. I was able to do about 80%. Then I got a reward for my first mission with Jen as a triple pocket mod and then the next mission I got the schematic for the double pocket mod. I only have level 1 assassins armor. I am going bow/knife/pistol 100%. I did spear and machinegun too last time, but I am keeping it leaner. I am actually struggling with food and water a bit. It seems to go faster than before. I went through 10 grilled meat and 10 water in one day and was still hungry and thirsty in the end. I did break up a lot of stuff at the new base. I am actually doing a large farm right across from Jen. It has a fence 100% of the way around already. I still need a place to fight the horde, but the base is all cleaned up and secured and all the storage and work stations are in place. I should have enough concrete for a basic one. I actually have 2 tame chickens. I actually killed one though. There was a not so tame hog though... and a frick'n dog. It would be cool if the game had pets and followers for your base that will help defend it... and maybe a few survival groups that you can also do missions for, but no trading. Have the missions a bit different and have them give more interesting loot for rewards... but let you see the rewards first. Just have them have one mission say every 3 days and that is it and they shoot zombies that get too close. Have some special POI. Put them in or near the towns. Maybe have pets and followers come from these missions as well as unusual items... Maybe new skins for the vehicles and weapons... cool stuff. Maybe have the unique new armors schematics like the Preacher come from them too. They do need a little rebalancing of the armor. I think most of the weapons (and mods) are pretty good though. I think the loot level is good too. Maybe make it so you do not get those chains where you break 10+ lockpicks in one go. Maybe don't reset the timer back to 3-5...

Remember: when comparing two items, ALWAYS take the mods off, the mods raise the stats and the bases maybe different. Additionally, it SEEMS that loot stage massively impacts the stats rolled (aka, forest loot will generally be way worse than wasteland), not 100% sure if that holds true for crafted gear yet

I found out you dont need to hold shift anymore. Both running and vehicles are now just toggle with shift. You can still hold to do it but toggle works also.

Should do a challenge: Night Time only. Where you can only go out of the base at night time to do missions & exploring ect. Might need a mod to make traders 24/7 open.

Completing the Wasteland Treasures book set significantly buffs Legendary Parts drops... Also, they tend to drop more frequently from places that typically give clothing type loot; think Savage Country clothing racks and shelves.

that first t3 POI you looked at the serrano residence is the old pigglywinks bunker poi. definitely give it a try next time you see it they changed a lot of it and I think the devs meant to show some of the story/lore of the game with it, if you want to call that story/lore.

I think one way they could really easily make the cop have a different sound is add like some kind of gun rattle or something to his voice lines, they wouldn't even have to change the sounds but just adding an extra sound that's indicative of a cop would help to differentiate

They're a little low, until you finish the right book series, then they go up a bit and are a little high. They changed the completion bonus on one of the looting book series to "higher chance to find legendary parts". Military Clothing Racks have a very good chance to have them.

@JaWoodle The nerd boots are spring loaded shoes to help cushion you to safe fall to the ground. Ice skates wouldnt do that. Think of them more like the Moon Shoes toys for kids back in the 1990's.

I think it would be great that during your playthroughs you devote at least one whole episode doing renos to your base. I know many people would enjoy it and it would be fun to see your vision and you introduce me to alot of new shape boxes. just a suggestions.

CautiousPancake made a mod on nexus called new poi highlight that tells you which POIs are new. I know you don’t like to install mods mid playthrough but it might be a nice addition to the series that doesn’t affect gameplay

I have used this house a couple times myself, I love it. The first time was when I was playing on a Multi-Player server & found it in a snow biome all by itself. I fixed all the holes & made it look really good. Everyone on the server loved it.

If you do get double books you will be able to see it. Say if you have 55 books and you get the bonus, it will go to 56 and then to 57. You just need to keep looking at the counter once you have read the book.

I started a new game for 1.0 and went Perception skill tree. Found a double pocket mod on day 3 and a schematic for single pocket mod on day 2. Maybe lucky looter is worth it. Also found a toilet pistol on day 1 and a wrench on day 3.

i was incredibly lucky in the winter shotgun messiah shop T4 as i got a double upgrade for my ak in a quality 3 M60 and a triple upgrade from my quality 5 pipe rifle with a quality 4 sniper rifle.

On console, the gas comes out if you remove/swap the engine. Not sure if you can do that on pc.

I don’t like the way that they still have the bikes falling to the ground, especially the motorcycle. Even an invisible side or centre stand would be better than that because no one drops their motorcycle. Bugger to pick back up for one thing.

I've been playing Machete and it owns the hunting knife using the biker gloves. Pretty much 1 hit decaps all normal zombies and ferals.

That strength mod is really handy. Combine that with the cigar and the miner outfit and you can get 3 points into motherload and miner 69er without putting any points into strength.

I think pumping your strength to 5 is worth it now just for packmule and then use those 2 mods to pump it to 7 to max out all mining and cooking skills or heavy armour if you are using heavy armour.
