@@adubbproductions yes please get the white toner printer. I can't afford the Ricoh for now so the white toner maybe good for a start. I need to see how it works and get your views on it. You know comparing it to Ricoh and sublimation.
Awesome video Allan I am actually in the market for the Ricoh they sent me some samples and love how it feels and with the added option that I can add foil to the mix to add more blink to the shirts. Question on the heat press, does it get to the temperature that it is reading or do you have to use a thermometer to know exactly how hot the platter is?

Yes a heat press is necessary with a dtg printer. I would advise joi to make sure you have the business to sell shirts before you purchase the machine. Then when you have it purchased either the ri1000 or the ri2000 if you need to print super fast but make sure you plan on printing at least 10 shirts a day and you can sell them. Only if you have the demand for it. But i would highly suggest you consider getting and Epson F2100 because they are at an Altune low low price now and the companies customer support is 1000 times better that Ricoh. The printer works great in ideal conditions but the company Ricoh seems like they do not care about this product or anyone that has it.
Hey Allan I have a few questions. Is there a weekly maintenance process that needs to be done? Should the machine be use to print on wood. Have you ever had to repair the printer head, and what will cause the head to go bad?
The machine requires daily, weekly and monthly manual maintenance. Sometimes I skip the daily maintenance and do it every two to three days. I don’t encourage you to skip the weekly or monthly maintenance. I have changed a printhead before, they walk you threw the process, it isn’t to difficult. If you keep the printer in a warm area you shouldn’t have many issues. What makes a printhead go bad is not using the printer and not doing the maintenance. The ink needs to move threw the lines constantly on a daily basis. If it doesn’t it can solidify and clog the lines. I’ve never really had that issue. I had issues with the printer stoping half way threw prints so they had me changing various parts to attempt to repair it. Never worked l. They ended up having me ship the printer back to them and they fix it and send it back to me. It’s worked fine ever since.

I think on the website there is only one size that fits this cart. Once you select the cart it gives you the wheel suggestion at the bottom. The option is with wheel lock or no wheel lock.
I bought the ricoma rih 2000 the white shirts come out perfect but the black shirts I’m having trouble there is these lines across and looks a little faded do you know why that would be?
That’s a good question and I can understand why you would ask that. Simply put, I don’t review products that don’t work for me and my business. I’ll do an unboxing but after that check and see if you see me do any future videos on the product or if I use that product for my business and you can see that the product is reliable. This printer does require what seems like a lot of maintenance in the beginning but once you get to know it, it’s not that bad. I’ve had it for over a year now and it still works. Check the date on this video then check my most recent videos of this product in it. Check out my workspace where I was then and where I am now. But still, do your research see what else is out there and make the best decision for you and your business. Mine works for me and my business and their are a lot of people having success with it. There are a lot a lot of people complaining about it but what you will find is it’s the same thing with every dtg printer. Do you research and go with the printer that makes sense for you. Buy a Ricon ri1000 and it is the worst investment you can make, a machine that costs more than 100,000,000 pesos and does not have technical service, the stamping is of poor quality, and the machine is damaged by anything, do not let yourself be robbed and advise well on the use of this machine, many people have made them go bankrupt, I include myself among them.
Ok i get it but you just gonna copy and paste the same thing on every video I have? Is it just me or you doing it in other Ricoh videos too? You know I don’t own the company right? Don’t you think this would be more effective on some of their videos? They do have a RU-vid channel you know .
