Hi Jessie Dew I know how to make a Smudge Feather or Prayer feather some time I like to watch other people make there Smudge feathers just for fun and I do mine different way I do leather and cover it with peyote stitch and some times I will add fringe leather or shells and for the beadwork I use colors that mean a lot to me if I am making it for my self for others it up to them

I love them and have found their feathers.....also Canadian Goose feathers are left all around my property area when they are nesting and raising their babies. Could I use any of these?
I as a white person cant use those feathers. What are good substitutes for this? I'm an Alaskan and very far from stores. Also I do have native background but am too far removed for it to count, as my grandmother says.
Your camera is too low you can see your hands but you cannot see what you're doing and this is not the only video you have out there that's the same way
