If you use a water color paint brush to apply the powder paint, it is less messy.

Very nice work I like that. I love that Watermelon color also. What do you do put the whole thing in the toaster oven to cure after your powder paint is applied? I guess I'm asking how do you position it in the toaster oven with the wire form?

Okay yeah I can probably figure something out. I think I'm going to go ahead and order the stuff and see what I can come up with. I also was going to ask you how well those helping hands works that you got at harbor freight. I need something to hold these jigs while I'm heating them and saw that on one of your videos.

@@bassassinfishing4937 take the spinnerbait wire and put some sharpie on it and then when in place squeeze the mold tight. It should leave a mark on both sides !!!!!!

My man Skimpy, hey question. how do you clean out the spout of the lead pot? My spout is clogging causing a slow flow.

What's up brotha!!!! So the best way is to take a piece of copper wire and put it up the hole lol. If still keeps dripping, empty out all the lead and clean the heck out of it. The dripping is usually caused by some imputies or dirt or whatever. Using clean lead is key. Make sure to get all the slag that builds up. Once aomw of that slag gets by the bottom "hole" it starts to clog and drips

I'm looking for a really good spinnerbait mold. I have some old school Do-it molds. I've looked at modifying my jig mold like you did. ORRRR.... I am looking into the ultra head spinnerbait or a bug molds mold. I'm looking for one with eyes, good weight balance and a larger skirt collar. Do you have any advise or suggestions for me.

I used to only use the poisontail head that I modified, but once I got thr ultra I never looked back. That ultra is awesome !!!!!

Nice tutorial. You should set up a PO Box so followers can send you stuff! I’ve been carving cranks and swimbaits the past few months. I’m going to try carving tiny bodies for spinners like this until I can cover the expense of a mold or two. I’d be happy to send you some handmade lures in return for your great content!

I usually do this in all my videos. Pretty much what I do is smoke the mold and start pouring!!!!! I have wiped it down if I see any debris in the mold
