Yes, pressure flaking can sometimes make a nice looking biface look a bit rough. It kind of depends on what point style you are trying to replicate. Some of the paleo types show minimal or even no signs of pressure flaking at all and may show best by just light percussion retouch....

I have trouble pressure flaking I think i have shape problems I can get them thin but they look better if i dont pressure flake them?? angle poblems I think but im not shure? could be the flint some.Wow how do you use hammerstones so well.

Thanks. Be sure to check out Marty's videos (flintknapping tips). Of all the knappers I have knapped with Marty is the best, probably the best knapper on the planet

I can never seem to get my flakes to travel deeply into the piece. I'm not working in that scale. I'm starting from flakes and tryint to work them into something.

It's like trying to watch something without my glasses: blurry as hell, and I can't see jack all! Would you please consider updating the video with a new one in 1080p60? Then we'll actually be able to see what's going on. That 60fps part is important, too. None of this 25fps garbage, please!
