Thank you Kimon. Your videos are always very interesting to watch. I am building my first violin so it is therefor nice to watch someone that knows how to do things. It is also very nice to see the tools you use and the methods.

Thanks for the video! What hide glue gram strength would you recommend to use when making the violin? Are different strengths used for different tasks?

I have been watching this series with great interest. I have seen you use a LARGE, what seem to be in one piece, sanding paper. Where on earth do you purchase those sanding papers??

in USA you can get them at Home Depot they are sold for floor sanders

Thanks for sharing. I prefer using few but larger clamps. This way I can clamp it quickly before glue gels. However when doing repairing because the surface may be uneven. Smaller clamp works better.

I may have missed it somewhere, but are the blocks at the endpin and neck join the spruce or the maple?

The blocks and linings can be made either of spruce or willow (but never maple as it is too heavy). I use willow on this instrument.
