I dunno, in my dreams i run VERY fast, sometimes even losing balance and falling coz of that, and this thing is really scary, because it's not like falling on the ground, it's like falling in an unending pit
last version reminded me of tank threads. i wonder if you can make a tank bridge. also you could try making something like rails for better friction. also you should try using springs as energy storage, like spring engine gets connected to a fixed motor at the start and disconnects after certain time and runs to the next fixed motor station or to the end.
What a great little walking system, I love it! I don't have this game, but I'm likely to use some of the lessons I'm learning, here, in some of my others. So glad kAN recommended your channel 👍
@@ReidCaptain I percieve it more as actually using mechanics creatively rather than breaking. Have you heard of "Stormworks: Build and Rescue"? I'm completely in love with the game and I could see you building crazy cool stuff with its mechanics. Maybe check it out and see if it floats your boat (pun intended :P). Thanks again for making and sharing these videos and putting this amount of time and effort in!
Easy walking bridge. 1. Take a beam of "Bridge" 2. Add a motor on either end. 3. Add joints on either end of the motors but on the same location when the motors are compared. 4. Add two steel bars running between each motor joint. 5. Add a "leg" on either end of the steel bars and it's a walking bridge!
You should make a part 2 to the trebuchet video but make a whipper trebuchet. In case you don't know, a whipper trebuchet is a more modern trebuchet that is designed to reduce the final kinetic energy of the trebuchet itself, meaning more energy gets transferred into the projectile and it goes further.
Whenever I see someone making robots in games where you're not supposed to be making robots I must overcome this insatiable urge to make a Rules of Nature or Weapon to Surpass Metal Gear joke.
Now cars have mechsuits too. :D But to be honest. I was expecting a mobile bridge plattform, that would climb into a ravine to bridge the gap for other vehicles to cross the ravine.
