I bought the same saw cause of his video as well. I used the restorer and it removed every bit of rust down to good fresh metal. It's very clean looking now. - John
Fantastic idea Mitch! You are so clever! Thanks for making the video. I hope your camera lens did't get too badly damaged. I have never seen anyone dance with a welding table before. You have so much unknown talent!! Cheers
Thanks Mike a little at a time and I will have the shop ready for production.😂 I remembered and only got a couple of specs on the camera lens still good to go. Thanks for checking out the video 😁👍🚜💨🍳
I am wanting to go the other direction with a table saw. I actually want one as a table saw. I used to have one that was my brothers. He now has it back and I need one of my own.
Hey Gary this was a working saw and I got it on marketplace for $65 bucks so you might be able to find one for cheap or cheaper. Thanks for checking out the video. Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨🍳
How's she goin'? As a woodworker first and a metal worker 3rd or 4th, it hurts to see the table saw being stripped apart, but I have to admit, it sure does make a nice welding table!! Well done Mitch and thanks for sharing. Take 'er easy!!!
I feel your pain I too had a long thought 🤔about taking apart the table but I already have a table saw that is portable and this thing is so heavy. Thanks for checking out the video. 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Well **it happens😂 try not to think 🤔 about it. It’s gone I mean just don’t be so hard on yourself. We all have our moments. 🤣🤣😂👍just joking 🙃 Have a great weekend. 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Hello Mitch, I have that exact same table saw in my garage right now. I was going to sell it on Kijiji, but now I'm not so sure. Great idea. Thanks, Ben
Wow that is a great idea! That looks super handy and having the water table right on the side is a great idea. The belt grinder will be really cool too. I have been thinking about looking into one myself. Nice work!
Thanks Justin 😁 I can’t wait to start the belt sander project. RU-vid is so cool. I can look up any idea and find someone that has done it. Saves me so much time. Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Great idea to repurpose and old table saw. In my area, South Alabama, the asking price for these table saws are $100 minimum and I’ve seen the for $400. Still looking.
@@tyson9419 We moved to Alabama a few years ago. Everyone told us that the cost of living here would be sooo much cheaper. It’s not. In some cases, like this one, things are more expensive. About the only this cheaper here than Cali is gas.
Great minds think alike 😁👍 and just because I did it doesn’t mean you can’t do it way better. I do the same when I have an idea someone else already did it.😂 Have a great week Zach😁👍🚜💨🍳
I just purchased a heavy duty steel cart on wheels for 30 bucks and I’m waiting for a call back from a guy selling an old craftsman 10” table saw with a cast iron deck for 40.00 it has both extensions on the saw so I’m thinking it’s 40”x 27” . It’s my second build the first one was a three legged grinder table I bought and added a 12”x60” steel drain cover I cut in half and spot welded them together and bolted them down on top of the grinder table so I can move them in two sections it’s heavy duty.
Dude, you could have left the motor on and put a steel cutting blade on it for cutting steel. That'd be handy for cutting miters, even sheet metal. That's how I do it, and works perfect. Peace
