We bought 40.5 Acres in 2016 and quickly realized that we needed trails to get around the property. That lead us to purchasing The Kubota B2601 to help. We are planning to retire and live on the property some day. If you like Tractors, Being Outdoors, Camping, Modifying and Fixings Things, Firewood and Just Plain Doing Stuff! I bought a betsco flail last month. I’m still trying to get it dialed in. On your 3 point arms, are they inside or outside of those plates? I have one arm outside and one inside and it doesn’t look right.
I will usually put them on the outside or off set one in and one out to get the flail mower to sit out on the right side of the tractor to protect the belt side cover. Best tip is to make sure your belt is tight before you use it they will stretch out over time and heat and then burn up when you least expect it. Happy flail mowing!!! 😁👍🚜💨☀️
@@Live-Life-Freely Only thing to consider is how to flush it out of the block after if it doesn’t work. Otherwise let us know if it works. I hope it works because it is a lot of work to rebuild. Thanks for watching. 😁👍🚜💨☀️
I’m running about 500# on the back of my BX for big jobs. I filled a ballast box about 60% with gravel. That way I can adjust as needed. Easier on the front axel and sticks the rear tires.
@@craigguinn5423 Thanks for sharing your experience. I have a 650-700 pound ballast box I made. It makes a difference for sure. This was our first stump learned a lot since then. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Superb fabricating, you must be a natural to design and build like that, and make a video about it at the same time, and thank you for showing us all why grapples are so expensive to buy 😀
@@Emilio57 Thanks for the kind words!!!😁👍 I enjoy the feeling I get when I make something useful. Just wish I could afford to do it full time. But then it might become a job. 😂 Thanks for Watching 🚜💨☀️
This is an awesome video! For anyone reading this, clean engine oil should be used instead of white lithium grease as per the manual. Also, a zip tie works great to hold those o-rings in while you're driving the cam end cap into position. Impressive job putting this together and filming it all. I'm always in awe of guys who have the patience to wrestle with a task like this and do such a pro job documenting all of it. Thanks again.
@@Mrfrags4117 Thanks 😁👍 I should have used motor oil on the rubber seals for sure. In my defense I had a lot to do. Hopefully it will be fine. Have not had a problem with the Pilot since the repair. Thanks for the kind words and watching. 😁👍🚜💨☀️
@@jetlimaximize I have not noticed any difference except the difference in height. The only difference is now I am running 50psi on the air bags instead of 90psi before trying to get it higher. But it does seem to feel like a over loaded truck both ways 😂 thanks for watching
@@TimeAfterTym Things are a little busy right now but I am hoping to get some time to edit some videos I have shot earlier this season. Thanks for asking 😁👍🚜💨☀️
SSQA worked perfectly on my LS XJ2025 diesel tractor less than 5 minutes to get the bucket off the deliver truck and onto my tractor Stumps come out of the ground almost magically Big stumps and roots maybe 5-10 minutes Finished 5 acres of brush stumps (most with 3-5 inch stumps and up to 16 foot roots in 3 hours Saved over $1,200 in fees for stump removal to be able to till the field
@@neptunepoolsserviceandrepa2529 Yes of course I will install it myself but still saving up the funds. So far the 2” inches is working out for me. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
With turf tires I don't think there is room for me to reach in from behind the way you did. It would be great to have two hands in there, though. Nice video using the loader. I use a chain and the arms of the auto shop lift for the same purpose. Be sure to use hooks, not a knot, as a knot can come undone and drop the tractor.
@@MJADoingStuff This morning I reassembled the deck and installed it quite easily, thanks to the car hoist lifting the front of the B7510 on a chain, and especially because you provided the hint that I can use both hands on that devilish PTO hookup if I crawl in from behind. I'll be taking the deck off for maintenance much more frequently now.
OK, I am not sure that I understand what the concern is, as I don't see how the pins can fall through the hole. They have the cable attached for one thing. So what if the pin is moving side to side. I am all for simplicity, and I think your original idea is the best. You don't have to buy any washers, and you don't have to get your welder out IF YOU OWN ONE! Ross's idea is OK, and maybe fancier looking, BUT, does it do anything different than your original? And for what it is worth, I saw some Box Blade indexing pins on Amazon, and they DID NOT have any washers on them! They looked like your original ones too.
I did not have a problem with the pins and no washer falling in the whole just thought Ross had a good idea and tried it. And wanted to show that you can use different things to accomplish the same thing. Have a great week 😁👍🚜💨☀️
I think you need another pallet fork for the front with another IBC Tote. But could you put enough in it to counter the back and still lift it? Could wind up with too much total weight on the tractor, but you could get a lot of watering done in fewer trips!
Thanks 😁👍 I hope your neck gets better last year I had to get ACDF surgery so I know about neck pain. This is a good work around minimal upper body strain. Thanks for watching 🚜💨☀️
Very nice find Mitch. I'm sure you will create more projects for us to watch. I can't wait!!! Was it my imagination or was your chuck turning backwards in this video ??? Dan 😊
Hey MJA - I like Mikes channel too and he's inspired many projects for me. You too bud. A question and a comment about something you might wanna try. I notice Mike used a 6" deep steam tray. You used a 4" deep tray. Does that seem deep enough that the last from your plasma torch has NO chance of water getting splashed back on the torch tip? That was my fear with 4" pans? You sure don't want any water to spash onto your torch. Ouch. Last I found a great way to collect those chips and shards from the Evolution chop saws and ports band saw tables. Use a magnet inside a plastic bag or latex glove. Pull bag or glove off magnet inside out to dump chips w/o getting them on the magnet. For a more elegant, but more $$, put a mag switch magnet on the bag or rubber glove. Then just turn it on or off. I'm very interested in whether your getting any smash back with only 4" deep water pan.
Great Idea about the magnet 🧲. I have not noticed any difference in how the torch works. I do think a deep pan would be better. But I do most of my cutting outside. I only use the small water table for quick cuts. Thanks for watching and the feedback. 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Hey man I just want to say this video was a life saver. I bought a 2007 honda pilot on Facebook marketplace at market value with a blown head gasket etc. i decided to not spend the 3500-4000 bucks with a mechanic and decided to watch your two videos to solve the problem myself. So thank you 🤙🏼
You’re welcome😁👍 Thanks for the kind words. My 2005 has been running great ever since the repair. It is my daily driver and a great all around vehicle. Thanks for watching both videos 🚜💨☀️
I also overheated engine replaced the front gasket of the head but it still does not run smoothly I will change the second one I want to ask the engine block and can suffer or not?
At what point did you remove the front motor mount I've been trying to figure out a quick and safe way to do that. I'm talking about the mount that is below the power stearing pump.
5:00 oh brother..... just take the power steering pump off, its 2 bolts, and then take off the bolt for the knock sensor..... its also not hard to get the runner off once you do that And once the front runner is off, you have full access to that knock sensor anyway
Thanks for demonstrating the pole saw attachment. I have been looking for someone to use that attachment with the bar not vertical and you did just that. I will probably have a look at the kombi system.
I have used it a lot around the property. It nice because it is easy to transport on a ATV or fit in a car 🚗 trunk or tractor 🚜. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
