hi james could you explain which brand that used for zirconia implant abutment ? is it possible to produce with zirconia blocks ? (i've never seen these are.it's seems like they're ingot )
Do you ever pre-drill a screw access hole into the e.max crown prior to crystallization so you can cement the emax to the zirc/tibase abutment but still have screw access if you ever would need to remove the crown?
Hi Nick. That is always an option. Most of the time, if retrieval becomes indicated, diamond access is accomplished at the time of crown/implant removal. In the last 10 years, I have seen very few removal demands. All the best!.
That concept works well when the clinical situation allows and is understood. Dr. Steven Chu provided an excellent literature review on bone biology. It documented that the thickness of mucosa and bone/implant placement is the primary factor for connective tissue attachment, providing a stable bone environment.
but where can I learn to make abutments with Cerec? Can I learn from you? Do you have this in your trainings? I will gladly pay for your important information.
Hi Marrcelius. There is a lot of information about making an implant abutment with CEREC at www.kliminstitute.com. Register for the yearly membership and then go to the channel on implants.
I have to say that your work and understanding of dentistry is absolutely great. I ’d say master just like Usain Bolt in 100 meters or Air Jordan in basketball . 👍
