brushie _jp Mechanic - ‘yeah your exhaust has a hole in it’ Customer - ‘how has that happened?’ Mechanic - ‘I don’t know, maybe it’s because you have a fucking wooden exhaust’ Customer - but RU-vid said it was ok’ Mechanic - **Drops spanner**
It will not break, the large diameter will absorb all the pressure from the master cylinder, no brake effect and no strain on the garden hoses. Just look at any master cylinder, the diameter is so small so it moves very small amounts of liquid, not enough to expand a garden hose more than a few micrometers (depending on length, a very short one would visibly expand)
6:42 look how scared he was that he was going to get something said because he reved to the max but then thexy just say sweat or how ever that is in russia xD
I found this article also I know this is unrelated to the video but Incase anyone curious and didn’t know some new cars do this www.popularmechanics.com/cars/a7923/the-rise-of-the-fake-engine-roar-11291754/
If I was Russian and living in your part of the country, I would definitely be a customer of your garage! A few things you did on Shorty would be requested on my Lada, that’s for sure!
That is awesome. Craziest thing I did was make a glasspack muffler out of a PVC pipe and stuffed it with Owens Corning fibreglass. It sounded good but couldn't stand up to the heat lol.
Well you can hang some fish there for smoked salmon maybe. Please please install a tube from the wash water container to the exhaust and fill it with gylerin.. Did it on my first car it's hilarious :D
I've never seen "Shorty", and I'm not a big fan of mods, but that is one SWEET looking car! Try the wooden pistons again using JB-Weld (or similar) to cover the piston-tops.
Top video! But, why did you guys expect it t p burn? There is hardly any oxygen left in the exhaust gasses. I don't think it will ever burn from the inside. Again: no O2 in there.
Next time you should make some wooden baffles in each one! Increase the back pressure and hold the heat and exhaust in a little longer and see what happens. And see if you can imitate a flowmaster haha!
Suggestion: Try mounting a tube, maybe two to three times the diameter of the exhaust. Then weld two tubes inside to come out the ends of the tube, and set the inside ends about 3cm apart. Then at each end, have the exhaust of the engine enter the cylinder, one end at the top of the tube and the other at the bottom of the tube to create a counter-rotating exhaust stream that meets at the 3cm gap. I'm betting the sound cancels out the sound, and you create a baffle-less muffler.
The water pump makes a lot of pressure..... How about we were revving the shit out it and didn’t have any cooling fans so it overheated and blew the hose off!
Proto Man Go hold your rpms near redline in a parking lot for 10 min without moving. Most cooling systems will not keep up with that load without the vehicle in motion and will overheat. Especially an older car. The explosion of hot steam proves the water was past the boiling point and the engine was overheating.
