Alright funny guy, get back in the plane, there's more villagers to introduce freedom to. Check out my Kickstarter campaign here: www.kickstarte... My discord server (plz join): / discord Besiege Playlist (plz watch): • Besiege
I was actually about to suggest Screw Drivers. The only thing I'll say though, gear direction doesn't matter in that game, and you can't really control which way things spin, so that can get in the way for complex builds
14:06 Bro actually experienced an "unstart", which is when one of the engines loses control of the normal shockwave, causing a sudden increase in drag on one side In his case, the propellers vibrating out of control created the extra drag
This is actually kinda interesting, because the speed at which the props kicked in is roughly the same speed that the SR71's engines transitioned fully into ramjet mode
@@ReidCaptain, we belive in you. Try making Fortress from "Fortress" animation from russian guy. I tried making it but it crashed game. Your professional experience would help in this community
it's really cool that actual ramjet tech exists. This is pretty close to how the jets on the blackbird operate, performing better at higher speeds. very cool!!
Fun fact: the SR-71 Blackbird is much much bigger than the one you made, however if it were accurate to scale it would be too heavy to fly at the speed that is dose without ripping itself apart (besiege physics is wired).
i keep forgetting to subscribe and ive been watching you for a while, but i am in shock when watch any video of yours because of how skilled/creative you are so please dont stop the amazing content
7:10 man, like every time you said like "what changed from the initial test" i just kept yelling at the screen "DRAG! the blades are causing DRAG" lmao

At 5:00 my probably guessed is why you lose speed is because probably when you let go of those fan's that produce speed the propellers kinda act like air brakes since they stopped gaining speed from the fans that makes them spin, i have this same problem with my jets that used propellers for speed and i used wheels to make them spin and when i cut off the power it acts like a air brake and if you add More stuff on the wheel the high of the top speed of the wheel can go , my jet engines (mainly powered by wheels and propellers) the wheels on my engines can go 13.50 since each of the wheel has 3 rows of 1 and 6 all together, so more on wheel more speed wheel can go
Try making an alien mothership that can destroy a large area similar to most of your missiles, similarly in range to one of your three missiles in your overpowered missiles video. Using missiles of course as the main form of weaponry. One cool thing you could do is make the missiles track automatically, mostly the ones in your satellite video, with a much smaller size and are in groups that target multiple targets. The satellites would be inside the mothership, rather peeking out through small holes. One thing you could also do that I think would be somewhat more interesting is have the mothership launch drones rather than missiles that shoot missiles with tracking(or simple see-shoot). With the drones staying at a constant height lower then the mothership. Good luck if you try!
Did any of us notice that he made the Blackbird In Besiege video, even though we all agreed on the orbit without engines in KSP1 video? Either blud dosent care about the poll or he just lied to us.
Little john saved his money workin trying to make working gun he finally bought SR 71 he used galvanized square steel to do a wheel and propeller he used some screws he borrowed som from his aunt the he covered SR 71 with eco friendly wood then he installed wings to go straight he added some controls now lets enjoy the result (sorry for my mistakes in text im not American or British)
given how often you do aviation stuff in various games, you should learn some flight principles regarding cg/center of pressure and use some blueprints if youre gonna replicate stuff
man I love these vids! super interesting and well put together! maybe you could try making guided bombs that you can launch from one of your previous planes? could be cool!
You could make an inverse hovercraft (a hovercraft but instead of hovering in the air above water, it hovers in water below air at a constant height below the air)... ...Or just a hovercraft.
This would technically fit that description. I assume "mps" on that speedo is meters per second, and this craft can get to a little over 500mps (mach 1 is 343). Though the term "controllable" doesn't quite describe it all that well, it still does have pitch, roll, and air brakes.
