Make some art from your scrap box. Use Slow stitch hand embroidery to piece it all together. I keep all sorts of tiny bits of fabric and yarns ready for reuse. Watch as Tracey @artfiberstitch shows you how to choose colour and a theme from your scraps. Composition is at the very heart of any piece of art. We will cover that and how it is okay to reuse, and to change your mind. Hints and tips abound, as we have some fun creating this nature themed earthy organic fabric collage which we will later turn into a cover for an art journal.

Oh thank you! I am a great collector of scraps of interesting fabrics. The recycled ones I use from charity shops are really precious to me.

Those grassy looking pieces look like pine needles, they have that distinctive cap on the end. I sew them into baskets. They will hold together without breaking if you dampen them before sewing.
