For those who don't know, the Sand People (Tusken Raiders) from Star Wars are modeled after the Pashtun fighters that have lived in the mountains of Afghanistan and the surrounding regions. When the Soviets invaded Afghanistan, a lot of the local defenders used literal muskets and other super long rifles from the late 1800's. The Gaffi stick is loosely based on the walking sticks they would use to hike around, and their rifles in the movie were based on those super long barrel old style rifles.

The spiked club end of the weapon is based on a Fijian war club or possibly clubs traditionally used in East Africa.

Bought an FLsun sr like an year ago solely as an project to tinker with. Really fun machine and works fine when upgraded from bowen to directdrive and added an powdercoated build plate. Also at some point the company has apparently upgrated the machine and it now comes with fullsize volcano heatblock so theres no need to upgrade that anymore. I only wish that i could get my hands on some inviduals axis to see if i could make it taller.

I suggest you get an inexpensive wire welder so you can weld metal together also you could probably build some kind of crazy 3D printer out of a wire welder Maybe

Emily I would much rather listen to you talk ing about projects then listening to "fake smart" shows/ movies about tech. You should post more often about your progress, or just update videos, just would like to see more of your progress of your projects even if they aren't done. 😎 Seeing mini update videos would be cool.
