Terry, Thanks, since we're just making baits for our own fishing session now it works out quite well. I agree with you though, if we were making baits commercially we'd need to tweak it a little. Hope you're catching the monsters..... All the best..... Bill D.
I watch this video at least once a week and sport major wood. Bill, youre getting on. When you gonna bring me in to make sure your legacy continues and doesnt fall into some wallies hands?
@billdowler Hi Bill, im not Terry Hearn just an avid carp fan / Boilie maker, love this vid and have watched it a few times now, love your set up and im suprised you are not selling commercially as this is one of the best "hobby" set ups ive seen, great job again and ATB
@crazzygoggos No, we used to sell them but closed the business some time ago. We found that we had no time for fishing, all our time was taken up making baits for other people. We either had to go the whole hog and start a full production line in a factory or give it up and concentrate on our own fishing. We chose to fish...... Bill D.
Yep, we looked at doing that but I feel like it changes the whole make up of the bait. Also, we found it didn't come out to be that much cheaper since we have a very good source for eggs, all free range.

@Lastresort2010E16 Yep, does cost a bunch of dollars but since we use a lot of bait it's worthwhile for us to try and take the maual labour out of the process....... Bill D.
that's some set up bud you have there... when you first started did you start in you kitchen like I am going to? lol any tips or help would be mutch help thanks
We're not hiring right now LOL. Tips? Sure, just get to it, use the best ingredients you can afford. Make a balanced base mix, there are lots of good base mix recipes on the net. Flavour is not so important but whatever you use don't overdo it. 5 mls to a six egg mix is plenty. There's nothing better than catching fish on your own home made baits. Try out a few recipes, experiment, have fun.......
