Making Cinnamon Rolls using a CAKE MIX 

Over 25 years ago I was working in a big city dental office and it was a snowy cold morning. Our first patient bought in these cinnamon rolls for our coffee break. They were so delicious, and I ask for the recipe. To my surprise they started with a cake mix. They are well worth the effort to make and share.

Omg i made this for the first time and they were Awesome! 😊 perfect fluffy and tasty i Put banana icing instead of the regular icing and WOW! THANK YOU FOR THIS RECIPE!

Made thes years ago from a recipe I got from Judie Byrd. They are REALLY good. It makes a lot so I would freeze some. They freeze well too.

Also, if you want to cut down on mess: I mix in one bowl, grease bowl and turn dough in the bowl cover and let rise. I shape the dough on a very lightly floured 9x13” pan, layer with butter and cinnamon sugar, roll up and slice. Rise again. I bake them in disposable 9x13” pans because I keep one and gift one. Treats taste better when you share.❤️

I lost my recipe for these after moving. I had gotten the recipe from my Taste of Home magazine years ago. I’m so glad you posted these, thank you! They are really decadent and taste like they came from a bakery! They also go very well with fresh squeezed apple cider. Love you ❤️🤗🤩
