Making clay buddha head statue --- Step by step 

I love the ancient buddha statues in Dunhuang Mogao Caves.The caves were carved by hand starting 1,700 years ago, contain more than 2,000 brightly painted clay sculptures of the Buddha and other figures.
I had a little Bodhisattva bust statue I bought a while ago I was told it's from Dunhuang as a souvenir.So I thought I will using it as a reference but follow the ancient styles in Dunhuang caves to make an replicate one.Making a buddha statue is a healing process to me and I feel very blessed to see the buddha slowly appears in my hand.
