@@rebeccamclachlan9778 i have an owala which i love. stanleys irk me bc theyre so big and clunky. my owala is both a comfortable size and keeps my ice solid for like 2 days
that’s why they’re being resold for 2x the price. girly coquette patterns are on trend now so it’s in crazy high demand. i wish they started selling stanley’s like this from the beginning…instead they made the only desirable stanley’s limited edition/first come first serve
I agree! It's so pretty, and I'd be lying if I said part of me doesn't want it... but even using girl math, ik how long I'd need to work to cover the cost of a $70 tumbler and that's gonna be a no for me dawg 😂 (and likely $70 plus shipping as well!l)
You can reuse it for future gifts. I always resuse gift bags, tissue paper, bows, ribbon, card envelopes, party decorations, candles, cake toppers... basically anything that doesn't get damaged. Its cost effective and its less waste. For things that can't be reused for its original pupose can be upcycled into something else.
@@ivyblack8145 fr. I got a Stanley (ONE) last year because I loved that it fits in the cup holder and that it’s 40oz. Well, the Stanley cup SUCKS A$$. You gotta keep it upright at all times so it doesn’t spill, and if you want to make it spill proof you have to buy stupid little attachments separately. I’ve been wanting an owala water bottle since basically right after I bought the Stanley (this was before the owala craze too) but I just couldn’t justify buying another bottle so soon. Also, all the owalas I’d find in store were less than 40oz, and for me personally that’s not enough cuz I’m a water chugger lol. I finally pulled the trigger last week cuz I found a 40oz owala in store and it’s 100,000x better, CHEAPER and better looking imo. Im exiling the Stanley to goodwill. Good riddance. Best decision I made when buying the Stanley was only buying one 😂
Weird fact about customer service, they can't give out parts of a certain product. It's either the whole thing or none. Hence them asking for the return (cause it's legitimately required by their computer or else their management will notice and probably get them a fair warning... Too much of this could get them fired) it's also the reason why you got an entire set again and not just the straw. That agent was probably tired for the day or week or month and just gave everything up.
Customers like you gives me joy whilst on the job, lots of mean and stubborn people in customer service but guys like you makes my job a little easier by understanding that it's really all or nothing 💛
@@miledith555 it's possible but not 100% of the time. Those agents actually have a live chat with supervisors that how they "check their options". Supervisors will try but those will be recorded on them and they're in between getting the customer what they want and getting fired.
that pattern is adorable and the packaging was very nice. this was a really nice change from the stanley videos i usually see!! super cool craft idea! i bet you could do the same to a picture frame, or a jewelry box. i draw a lot so i'd keep some to glue/tape to drawings
I’ve been using pretty scrap paper to make into bookmarks. I glue it to recycled cardboard and then paint and add stickers, then I laminate the bookmarks with clear tape or contact paper. I make them throughout the year and hand them out with candy at Halloween. :)
70 $ for a cup and a straw ? That’s ridiculous! You could have a trafiłam water bottle for more than half the price or buy a bottle with a filter which would also be more effective and cheaper.
@@kaycobakugou143 i don’t have the control of her money and I never said I do 💀 I just expressed my own opinion that I think it’s kinda ridiculous for a freaking cup to cost that much. If she wanted to buy it then that’s her choice and if it makes her happy then good but I expressed what I think ☺️
so...do you drink the lead tho? because the lead is at the bottom of the cup and you literally cannot drink it and the lead will not be exposed unless you purposely break the cup to expose the lead OR completely run the stanley over😊
I work in manufacturing, this is commonplace and not harmful. On the other hand, if you have any wooden cookware (cutting boards, utensils, bowls) that were made in the east (Mass produced stuff bought from places like Amazon) they most likely contain lead and formaldehyde which is actually harmful.
I use plain packaging paper for mats to avoid paint splatters, glitter spills, etc from craft projects. Newspapers and coupon leaflets can make for a cool backdrop if you paste and layer on a foamboard
Maybe I should call Stanley back because when my Laney Wilson country Gold, Stanley got chipped and scratched the first day, customer service said it was a wear and tear issue when I have Thermoflasks from Costco that I bought in 2019 that are in better condition, as in truly without a scratch.
They wanted you to return the original cup because they don’t just sell the straw separately is my guess. The second person you talked to likely didn’t want to go back and forth with you on the phone. So yay you got a pushover the second time lol.
Same as me when I bought my Stanley it didn’t even come with the straw so they made me have to buy a whole new one, but they gave to me for free Edit. OMG TY for 245 likes
@@Cat-sf1miDoesn't seem like it. On a better day they could've even had a refund plus items. It depends on the representative. Why you always document who you spoke to until resolved. Possibly she received a double bc she is on social media. The non public customer simply received what they initially should've. Seems very scam like that this gorgeous, quirky straw must cost a pretty penny on it's own and goes missing. Oh cute project!
You should take the tissue to a place like Staples to make large coloured photocopies. The copies won't be made on the same type of paper, but you would still have more paper in the same colours and patterns to work with.
when i bought my first stanley it just never showed up, i waited for weeks, finally i only had to send one simple email and they had me with a brand new one in my hands within like 3 days no questions asked. i actually think their customer service is really great.
I Have always kept tissue paper When was Young along with wrapping paper/boxes even though it got thrown away most of it don't have anymore As Got older eaiser to keep always liked to save stuff to Reuse even before heard of recycling I Have always liked crafting & and making Stuff Drawing Painting Crafts ect & More
Maybe buy a fake Stanley in your nearest supermarkets! They are way cheaper and I find them prettier!! I don’t own one myself but my friends do and I have seen them before and they are amazing ❤❤
I do the same process on canvases, usually a set of 2 or 3, and your can hang them as is or use it as a background for collages! Most fancy tissue paper is based off someone's artwork, so it's pretty enough to hang/display!!
Yes if you don’t get the answer you want from customer service you definitely call back later and try again. ❤ they want a good review they need to help you get what you paid for. It’s a beverage cup so you don’t have to buy plastic bottles everywhere it’s beautiful to look at and I hope it does last you a lifetime!
@@cyxan. umm then what about those 9 year olds running ( they probably don't because they are going to get wrinkles ) with full face of make up and a Stanley
Wow really pretty. I have friends that make my tumblers. They aren’t Stanley but they are as good if not better. It’s all I will drink from is my tumblers . I order disposable straws they come in clear or glitter color straws etc. just make sure you get the right size the length of the cup. A bag of like 25 or more straws 6$
