Dear David, I have just purchased the PURE juicer and started my very first juicing today with carrots + its leaves and cabbage. The total amount is around 700gr of carrots & cabbage. I used grid #10. But after 15’ of grinding, I realised that the motor was getting hot. Did I do sth wrong? Or because I used the wrong grid? Maybe the #12 instead? I would be very thankful if you see my comment and give me an advice. Thank you so so much 🙏🏼
Hadi, The best thing to do is to write support@purejuicer.com with your serial# and let us look you up and respond there. Let us also know which cutter you are using? You should be able to grind 700g in 2-4 minutes and 10 minutes to grind and press. Motor do run warm and that is OK, what we don't want is hot pulp. Please write support and pls give your phone # to Win. We will sort this out this is just getting started learning curve.
Thanks for the video. What would honestly make me buy this juicer for $2,400, as I was able to buy the Nama juicer for $400? The Nama is a cold press juicer, takes much less time and the yield is nearly the same. Just curious what would justify an additional $2,000 for the juicer?
Hello! Most produce uses the two stage process where you grind it up and then press the mash to make delicious pulp-free juice. Some produce like citrus, watermelon, pineapple, and canteloupe only require pressing. Oh, grapes and pomegranates too.
There is an easily accessible voltage change switch, all juicers can be switched to run on either 120V or 240V. NOTE: Never run a 120V machine on 240V or the motor will be destroyed.
@@Purejuicer Do you have low cost models for third world customer like me? charging $2500 is O.K if your customer is from North America but not feasible if they are from certain Asian or African countries. You can develop a model specifically for these countries, take orders and shipped directly from your factory. Let me know if there is any such option.
Its not paper it's custom woven material designed for true two-stage juicing, PURE Press Cloth, purejuicer.com/collections/cloths_and_bags/products/pure-mshp-press-cloths-25-off?variant=32097819000913
Why don’t you use a bigger and more powerful engine, so that you can grind (grinding) and press (pressing) at the same time without too much loss of power, as you could see in the video? I think this can be improved. Or have I overlooked something that justifies the too small engine? Will this problem be fixed in the successor models? I am very concerned about this because I am interested in buying a Pure Juicer soon. Apart from that, great machine and I think it’s excellent that you show your juicer in your videos with its advantages and disadvantages without censoring the disadvantages. That speaks for you and shows that you stand behind your product and value the customer.
Hi Pedro, the reason we don't use a larger motor is because, to date, no one has worn out one of our motors and to go to a bigger motor would add size and expense, we chose not to do this as we did not see the need. What we did do, was design the most powerful 1/2hp motor we could by specifying the toque curves to provide the most power where it is needed. FWIW, when the machine is working in double capacity (grinding and pressing) it is pulling 14A and under a lot of load, despite this, the motor remains undamaged and the power is still there to grind and press at the same time. Did I answer your question?
Yes, you did answer my question. Thank you for the quick and clear answer/reply. I was wondering if it would not be better to offer two different Juicer variants, one with the current motor and one with a bigger motor, so that the customers can decide if they prefer a smaller and more economic Juicer or a Juicer with a bigger and more powerful engine.
@@Pedro-pt8pi If we make one with a bigger motor it's a new machine and when we intro a new machine - it will be a new machine to wow you with more innovation than just a larger motor.
The base juicer comes with 6pc cloth and 4pc bags. If you order while the 2020 Holiday sale is on you will receive 24pc extra cloth and 4pc extra bags.
Great video. I love carrot and apple juice, but would have never thought to include peppers in the mix. Why should I buy a Pure Juicer which is made in China when I can buy a Norwalk Juicer which is made in the United States? I seriously doubt it's that much better that I should support Chinese workers instead of American workers. Is it?
The PURE makes the most juice, extracts the most nutrients, has a hardened SS cutter, and is more enjoyable to run and easier to operate, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C6a2LhBNvHg.html
@@Purejuicer Really too bad the PURE Juicer isn't made in America, but isn't at all surprising since much of our manufactoring base is being/has been shipped offshore in support of foreign workers. Perhaps Norwalk will make necessary design changes that will enable it to compete with the PURE Juicer, if it indeed isn't as good as you and others claim. Thanks for the video link, but I doubt I could sit through an almost 2 hour John Kohler video. Thanks for your response, PURE Juicer.
bentleyjazzie, You are most welcome. Regarding Carrot, Apple, ginger, lime, jalapeño, we find to be healthy and tasty a wide variety of fruits and veggies are needed for a balanced diet. Comparison, I wanted to provide an independent review, here is one we wrote comparing the features, purejuicer.com/blogs/gerson-therapy/norwalk-juicer-and-pure-juicer-comparison. Support, As a datapoint, there is a lot more to where the PURE is made than meets the eye. For instance, you’re are supporting American workers, PURE’s sales, service, warehouse, R&D, and marketing is all domestic, so you are supporting US workers. Also, we are actively giving back to the juicing community by providing knowledge and support while we promote nutritional lifestyles and make charitable donations. We are helping people everywhere live healthier lives. We have also lowered the entry cost of two-stage cold-press juicing by about 20% so more people can lead healthier lives. Competition in a market is good for everyone, if you check the cost of used machines they have dropped often by up to 50%, this too makes the best juice more accessible. Finally, we live in a global world, we agree we should spend our consumer dollar wisely and buy American whenever possible but who doesn’t own imported products? Where are our phones, consumer electronics, clothing made? When we made the PURE the choice was not Made in USA or made elsewhere. We could not have brought the PURE to market at all, we’re it not for global sourcing, while the supply chain does exist in the USA, the costs for a small startup were well beyond our or almost anyone’s budget. We felt we could do more good by making the PURE Juicer than not making it at all. All this by way of saying, we respect your position and I felt it important to give you a thorough explanation.
@@Purejuicer The review comparison on your website is much more doable and concise, PURE Juicer. Thanks. And thank you for your perspective on how PURE benefits our domestic workforce while at the same time having the machine made in China. I appreciate your perspective on the issue, and wish you all the best.
The fibers are designed to not stick as the pulp will fall off them when we are done juicing. They are also designed to get the most juice and soluble fiber from the produce.
Customer service at its finest. Thanks for the reply. I am in the market for my father and I. I just like simple. And I not really a fan of the cloth. Less steps is better for me. But I will view more videos of your juicer before I make a decision.
I bought my machine less than yr ago I will say this is true ya it’s a little pricey but ! Don’t get me wrong I would have wasted hundreds of dollars wasting fruits and vegetables so yeah it pays for its self wright up. Front hand s down what really really love about it is all steel no plastic I can’t stand all this plastic junk to day. It’s built and built wright Now these little juicer you buy from wall mart or wherever don’t hold a light to this machine ,!!!!
