Making Digital Animation look like Cel Animation 

This a way I try to get a cel animated look, digitally.
Paint your cartoon with a wet brush that will blend colors together and it will have an organic, hand-drawn quality.
Then add noise and a drop shadow effect onto the painted layer.
Add a drop shadow onto each layer.
If you animate on paper or acetate, it will have a more lo-fi vintage look.
This process is a bit asinine for me, but on an upcoming cel animated project there are a few shots I don’t want to do on cels so I’m going to use this technique and hopefully it won’t be noticeable!
