We are not called to convert people, but rather to make disciples of Christ. Hospitality, evangelism and faithful presence are three ways we can do this, wherever God has placed us.
Couldn't agree more - God has placed many of us where we are to do missionary work in our own areas. There is work to do in every community. Brilliant video.

you also can't water down the gospel... you need to run them through the commandments and hold a mirror up to them and get them to understand that God's wrath abides on them, and that if they died in their sins they would be snatched into eternity with no more second chances. Once they are broken in spirit, that's when you share the gospel, the good news. Without the bad news, they will not cling to the good news. I know it's not comfortable, but that is how you ensure that they take it seriously from the get go and avoid making false converts who eventually backslide. We need to fear God. Not with terror, but with deep reverance and respect. I don't personally think you should share the gospel with anyone unless you can put the fear of God into them first. Then and ONLY then will the treasure the good news of Jesus Christ our lord and Saviour God Bless guys!
The Gospel as a whole is offensive, people may very well get mad at you. But think back to the early disciples, they were persecuted and horribly abused for their preaching. because it was raw and honest, and it was offensive. not that they didn't preach with love and compassion, but people hated the words.
1 Corinthians 7:13-14 calls a believing wife to not divorce her husband (stay with him) and explains that one family member can be sanctified through the faithfulness of a believer. Keep your family close and affect them with your believing life.
