I enjoyed the recent solo artist videos, but was genuinely overjoyed when I saw the runtime of this vid!

Some of the best episodes are when they get a short prompt and they just riff off it and build on their own nonsense for most of an hour. I love it!

I love the dissclaimer at 26:02 because it implies that when they were rewatching the final edit to make sure it was good for youtube, Nathan heard that and went "Aww no, I meant crocodiles!" and then they amended it for the final final cut

Now I want to see them draw fantasy people with locally sourced material for outfists to the extra degree they discussed at the start of the episode, like the classic merpeople with coral clothes and dwarves with graphite gowns

I'm an Australian, and according to my grandma (who tells a lot of stories so take this with a grain of salt) I'm related to the guy who named spiders spiders. According to legend, he owned a milk bar (idk if you have them in Yankee land but they're a small shop that sells lollies and soft drink and pies and kind of everything, the idea being that you can drop into your local milk bar instead of going to the supermarket) and he had big vats of ice cream, only sometimes a spider would get into the ice cream, I guess because of the sugar? So he couldn't sell it in a cone but instead sold it at a discounted price mixed with soft drink in a glass. We also don't have root beer here, unless you're at a place that sells American stuff, so spiders are made with regular soft drink- in my opinion the lime spider is king, but other popular choices are raspberry, orange or creaming soda. As an Australian I must confirm we call the float thingys spiders and until today I never gave that a second thought but you have caused me to question everything I know about the world. Also until now I though root beer was just what Americans called ginger beer but apparently NOT? Floored.

Julia mentioned mermaid fashion, and it reminded me of a Dutch fairytale I read that went into surprising depth into the topic of mermaid politics. And now I want Drawfee to draw Dutch fairytales. I've only read a few of them, but the ones I read were so funny in ways I didn't expect. They all somehow felt extremely mundane, even when dealing with mythical creatures and high stakes.

Am I just tired or was everyone even more incomprehensible than they usually are?

I finally figured out why I am SO hooked on Drawfee... Every episode sounds like the inside of my head.

I'm Australian, and I don't get the "Dangerous Australia" reputation we have. America has bears, cougars, wolves, coyotes, and Republicans. All of those things are way more scary to me than any of our spiders or snakes (especially since our hospitals have anti-venin).

I think the old style root beer had a more herbal quality/intense flavors from Licorice root and sassafras. The sassafras was banned in the 60s due to related health risks.

NZ WAS MENTIONED THAT'S ME but actually some anecdotal stuff about the term spider (with a grain of salt - I'm from Auckland, the largest city in NZ, so this experience may be non-representative): I haven't heard the beverage get called a spider since I was a kid (so like, at least 15 years ago). I and probably most of the people I've been friends with over those years has called it a float for most of my memory.

Spiders here in Australia are usually, in my experience, made with Coke, Sprite or Fanta rather than root beer. Root beer isn't a big thing here at any rate.

Actually, the FAQ on the page for that generator claims the person/people who made it were disappointed with their attempts at an actual sentence-constructing algorithm so just made it pick from countless prewritten sentences that they wrote. Having played around with it a bit, I have seen identical sentences pop up more than once, and on one occasion, a sentence where the writer lamented that coming up with tons of random sentences was a more difficult task than they anticipated. Its quite admirable how much dedication they must've had in order to come up with goodness knows how many bizarre sentences.
