I was looking for a recipe that combined water phase and oil phase. Thank you so much! Can you please tell me how long is the shelf life and does it separate out with time and temperature? Does it keep longer in the refrigerator?

Accurate shelf life can only be determined through efficacy testing and it is only as good as the quality of your ingredients and procedures. Many countries have rules on what can list as a use by date if you don't have lab tests done. I put all my recipes through stability testing to make sure they don't split. You should never keep your creams in the fridge - the risk of condensation can actually shorten the shelf life not prolong it

Keeley, your body butter cream looks absolutely scrumptious! Being a formulator myself, I can tell it's a stellar recipe. The honey quat surprised me as I use it in hair care products, but forgot it'd be awesome in skin care as well! I love that you weight each container, that is what I do, but I see so many that don't... I also use Illustrator for my labels too. Love that program. Your butter looks amazing, I'm just wondering if it would work here in humid Florida. I was going to do the Vault level, and wait till November so I'll have a whole month. Thank you. It always surprises me when people don't weigh containers. We do have inspectors here that can randomly check the weight of products in shops and markets. This Body Butter is a super thick moisturiser so it will work in all climates.

After adding the water to the oils can I put in the freezer to get thicker before adding the preservatives and whipping?

I do not recommend putting into the freezer to make cool down quicker. Rather, it is best to be patient and allow to cool naturally

Does your formulation get grainy after a few days? I’ve had to change the butter to mango and Kokum and along with cooling the them I’m ice bath

No I don't have an issue with graininess. This all comes down to your processing methods. This is also a lotion so really should go grainy like an anhydrous body butter

As this cream is thick, a jar is best but you could put into a tube or squeeze bottle. I'd avoid pump bottles 🧡

How does this handle in summer transit? I am in the US so I am in need of something that handles extreme heat very well. Also, can the oils and butters in this recipe be substituted?

I do discuss the shipping aspect in the intro. It's emulsified making it a moisturiser and not pure butter so is stable. Oils and butters can be substituted but individual testing is required.

I sorry. It is clearly stated in the title of this video as well as the description box that it isn't available. It also says to contact me before joining if you are wanting a particular recipe. I have also put a post out this weekon patreon advising I am releasing the recipe for one week only at the start of February due to the number of people joining and not reading all the information I have put out there. I honestly don't know what else I can do other than remove this video

I'm in a country that uses the metric system so always use grams. I provide formulas in Patreon so you can easily convert to the measurement system you use.

Hi can u help me I want to use beeswax with my Shea butter to keep it from melting because cocoa butter is very expensive in my country can you give me a recipe please of how much beeswax I can add to a cup and a half of Shea butter and oil

Sorry but I can't just give recipes as they take time to create and test. You will need to experiment with different combinations to find what works best for you. Be aware that beeswax does not always have a great feel to the skin so is not the best option to replace cocoa butter with

@@ginabeana3389 You can join for one month only. The vault contains all the recipes and the posts from the last 2 years so there is a lot of value there. When you join, you are charged when you sign up and then Patreon begin their monthly charging on the 1st of the month. If you decide you want to leave, just make sure your cancel your subscription before the end of the month. You will still have access until the 31st December. If you want to stay, you will need to adjust the level you are on before the end of the month.
