Making EVERY Kirby Copy Ability in Forgotten Land A Spirit Battle for Smash Ultimate

Kirby and the Forgotten Land? More like Kirby and the Forgotten Masterpiece. This game isn't talked about much anymore so thanks for reminding me of this great game.

A mod for smash ultimate allows you to create your own spirit fights, if you are okay with moding your switch it might be a way to fully show off your created spirit battles.

Honestly more Kirby stuff would be fire hopefully this doesn't flop

Very cool, I think Tornado could’ve maybe used Hero for one of the battles but other than that everything is so solid!

If you want to make more videos on Kirby and the Forgotten Land, I'd totally be down to see you do stuff like rank all the game's stages or bosses. A sequel to this video where you come up with Spirit Battles for the game's enemies, bosses, and friendly NPCs would also be cool.

Always a nice refresher to see a video focusing on something other than Mario. If the video does succeed, then a revisit of the game (ala Level by Level) would also be nice, though I’m not sure how likely that is. Great stuff all around

Good vid, however. I feel like Morpho Sword should have lifesteal instead of autoheal as Morpho sword can only heal by attacking and maybe someone like elflin for the big-rig mouth. But still, great video.

Having the spirit difficulties progress according to the stage of the copy ability fits too well! Would be cool to see some of these implemented in the game

I actually really love Storm Tornado in Forgotten Land, so I’m glad the ability was given a particularly hard fight. Between the heavy wind, Thunder items, and a Final Smash, it sounds hard enough to be a Legend-class.

I think Sword Kirby should be a Default Kirby who spawns with a Final Smash, though the one right now is still solid

For the morpho knight sword, it would be neat for the main fighter to be the galata (sorry if I spelt it worng) knight because morpho knight originally appears taking him over. What you did for this and all the other abilities are still amazing and I hope you continue the great work.

just a random thing id point out about the axe-hammer thing in three houses (byleth's origin game) there is a hammer weapon but its classified as an axe so that actually works pretty well

Here’s a way you could reference the healing from attacking aspect of the Morpho Knight sword, giving the Meta Knight representing Morpho Knight the Lifesteal effect, like what would be given from the Skull Kid and Majora’s Mask or Nightmare (Metroid) spirits

I think Masked Hammer should be in Omega Norfair since it has the metal parts of Forgo Dedede's arena. Additionally i think MK Sword should be in Omega Coliseum since its where you fight him in the game I also think the Cone should be a BOWSER who spams dair instead, to reference the turtles you smash. And for stage i think Wreking Crew would work since its where you first find them. AND lastly i think the Dome Mouth should be a team battle with a large pink wario against a large slow and heavy Jigglypuff. The Wario likes to spam Neutral B and nair, while the Jigglypuff tries to do rollout but since its slow Wario gets to eat it first. Regardless i loved the video. Hope you make more videos of Forgo land.

For stairs copy ability you could use bowsers down throw as he kinda just flattens you sort of like how the stairs do in Kirby but idk kinda grasping at straws but just an idea

For arc mouth I think it could be interesting if the Steve did nothing but fly away from you and you had to kill him in time. If you wanna be really evil you can put it on great cave offensive

Really, the only thing I wish you did were what they had to offer to the team, like would they be a primary or a secondary, if they're a primary, what type would they be, how many support slots would they have, what would their trait be, if they're a support, what would their skill be, and how many slots would they take up. Those are the things I wish you did.

7:48 In Kirby and the Forgotten Land, you fight Meta Knight and obtain the blueprint for the Meta Knight Sword ability in the Colosseum, so I think this Spirit Battle should take place on the Fire Emblem Coliseum stage rather than Halberd.

For the tornado abilities you could have used the ore club since it literally makes mini tornadoes.

Speaking of spirits: Why wouldn’t you make a video about the references behind the spiritual battles against the Star Fox characters? Here’s some help: Slippy Toad is represented by a green Greninja. Fox is also here to help his friend. Greninja tries to avoid the fight, referring the fact that in Star Fox, Slippy often gets in trouble, forcing Fox and his team to rescue him. Peppy Hare is represented by a gray king Dedede with the Rabbit Mask. Fox and Falco are also here to help him. Krystal as an assist appears by herself in the beginning of the fight. Just like with Peppy, Fox and Falco appear to help her. R.O.B 64 is represented by R.O.B of course! Who appear in the battle to help him? Fox and Falco! Again. *-_-* Okay, last one for today: Leon Powalski is represented by Crafted Yoshi. Wolf appears to help his best friend, referring him being in Star Wolf in the whole series. Falco is also here, but not to defeat the player. He’s here to help him, because of his personal rivalry that he and Leon have in their home series. You need to defeat Yoshi and Wolf to win. Like you lose if he dies, you also need to keep Falco safe.

Personally, I think it'd make sense to pair each of the copy ability spirit's with Kirby having the copy ability of the character you picked

What really got me about Forgotten Land was that it was the first major Nintendo title released after the final Ultimate DLC, so when it came out, I was expecting Ultimate to have Spirits prepared to coincide with its release like they did for Origami King, Age of Calamity, and Metroid Dread, only to be completely disappointed on that front.

Not to nitpick but Kirby’s dash is the forgotten burning ability but I get the choice.

I feel like the Space Ranger ability is a reference to Buzz Lightyear.

I love being guilt tripped into wanting to watch more Kirby and the Forgotten Land content at the beginning of the video 😂 …I’m kidding, I did actually have some interest in picking it up at some point, maybe for Christmas this year. Who knows?

Kind of a shame Kirby doesn't get a lot of buzz on this channel because it's not either Mario or Smash. Yeah, I like that stuff, but there's nothing wrong with branching out. Also, I think that making spirits based off of every enemy and boss in this game would be really cool.
