this is a great tutorial. I kept getting a make sure mmap patches are enable by your firmware. Turns out it will not dump a from the ps4 external formatted drive. only the internal one.

[Error] Format of the project file is not valid. (element is missing) i get this error Edit : I got this fixed by using the original gp4 file that comes with the game when you dump it

Hey ModdedWarfare, I am having quite a few issues with this dumper, compared to the older FW dumper's. It just seems exponentially slower, and when it 'finished' it looked like the eboot for my game's patch was still encrypted. On the main karo page I saw a dumper group and ran it, but that one seemed like it gave me encrypted retail pkg's instead of dumping the files. Are you aware if there are any payloads or alternatives for 9.00 dumping? Thanks.

Wish there was an AOI solution that would dump and convert to pkg directly on the PS4, at this point it's just more convenient to download a game and convert saves with Apollo if you have to.

Because of the locked games and without launching the game, necessary dump process will not start so dump is not possible

Oh, good to know that about TLoU2 languages ... that's why my backup dump is 16GB smaller, I will have to re-dump it. PS: Yup, just tested it changing the speech-language crashes my dump :D

Thank you for the information, I am able to dump and create as you showed. Any chance you can do an instructional tutorial on "remastered" fpkg? For some reason I can't get them to launch and there isn’t much info on them out there including what can and can’t work(patch ver) plus trouble shooting "remastered" dumps.

What we need is a firewall game update homebrew - this annoying Sony Update System shit is super pesky :D For me, the dump always stucks when creating the patch, no matter which game... s So this homebrew store is still quite immature! should be exfat and it should be the first partition of the drive. It'll try to dump the game on the first partition, so if you have a smaller one or if it's no exfat, it won't work

I successfully created the fpkg and installed it, but I receive this error message when I tried to launch the game, "Cannot start the application NP-34940-0." It was for Uncharted A Thief's End. I tried deleting my old saves, the patch / game update , still no go. I deleted the game from my extended HDD and popped in the disc and it ran. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think that error is due to the encrypted trophies within the update file. If so then you might be able to copy the decrypted trophies file from the base game and place them in with the update files and rebuild the package.

Make sure you dump the game using the homebrew store method in the video because you don't have to worry about decrypted trophies that can cause such issue

@@MODDEDWARFARE for starters, mwr and ghosts won’t fetch clients, even though I’m on the correct update. Especially the base game> 1.00, I’ve tried a different region and still same issue. Edit: was really looking forward to a Cold War addition to the tool, but am kinda bummed to not hear much about it. Would be so cool to be able to explore outside the map.

@@NightcoreClips_ I will double check MWR and Ghosts. One of the reasons I've not focused on the AIO tool recently is because there's another tool by DeathRGH called the PS4 Toolbox, which is updated regularly. I was hoping people would use that tool instead. Especially since it has more options.
