Making geological maps 

Geological maps can be beautiful things - and they tell stories of earth structure and discovery. Rob Butler explores the development of geological maps, focussing on NW Scotland, using historical documents to show how geological knowledge was created - a story that stretches back into the 19th century. The video was first presented with a Q&A session for Gairloch Museum, in August 2021.
