Hello Ms Nelson, I have read that eventhough dimethicone makes the skin product to have a slick feel and feels good on the skin and help retain the skin moisture, it is at the same time very detrimental to the environment. Reason is that it doesn't get absorbed by the skin but it's shed on the drain when you shower, and over time is accumulating in the river and ocean and affecting the marine life. I don't mean nothing to be mean by saying this, but I know you care a lot and are proud of the product that you make.
Fabuloso looking labels and you have that pink shade just puuuurrrrfect!!! I was imagining just lathering loads of that butter on me before it cools down lol. Just delish looking 🥰🥰🥰
Ps: it would be so amazing if you could share an olivem 2000 recipe! I tried many times to replace the emulsifying wax nf with it and the texture was just never right. Either runny like melted ice cream or waxy thick. I personally have no knowledge about formulating new recipes - my joy lays more in the making of those beautiful creams for my family ! Thank you so much for your consideration!
I just made your triple body butter and I am very curious to try this one because of the high amount of glycerin! I personally don’t use dimethicone - would you increase any other ingredient so we have 100% or is the amount so minimal that it doesn’t really matter!? You mentioned sorbitol for slip in the other video … would you use the same % of sorbitol here as you would use of the dimethicone?
Oh I can’t remember as it’s an older video but if you add up the ingredients then subtract the total it should give you the answer . It’s poverty 10% of the recipe
how much shea butter did you use. What can you use if you don't have that type of blender to mix. how long do you need tit to cool down for before adding the other ingredients
hi lovely. sorry ive just woken up as its 8am in Australia. its 8 grams but you can play around with the oils to get the consistancy. using the liquid coconut oil will allow you to get a silky glossy sort of oil
