Mashu - The New beggining. Represents the new life that was given to RaiEnsui Shinno - Represents the Forest around the Tower, That keeps the air clean. Hyouhi - Represents the Cold Night after the Tragedy Kenzu - Represents the Soul of them being transferred or being modified Anjo - Represents the Moon that gave Light on that Night. Fun Fact: Cheetahs aren't big cats! Cheetahs are in their own separate genus, and they don't possess some of the attributes that big cats have, like the ability to roar. I mean there are only 7 big cats, 4 of which are leopards, and three of which were already taken, so yeah getting creative with some of these cat choices was really fun to see.
Same with clouded leopards. They aren't technically big cats either (as their genus is Neofilis and not Panthera). Though, I adore the design that was based on them. Edit: And I didn't watch far enough before watching. Whoops. ^^'
Kenzu being a Psychic type cheetah actually has a lot of symbolism. They are sometimes seen as symbols of divine guidance, which is perfect for a Psychic type.
Okay, but now I'm trying to imagine their Paradox forms. Kenzu would probably be based off Dromaeosaurids, because they seemingly were among the fastest and smartest of dinosaurs.
Snow leopards are more closely related to tigers than they are to leopards! :D There also aren't many "big cats", being jaguars, lions, tigers, snow leopards, and leopards, so there's probably gonna be some repeats! Happy new year and love the new mascot guy!!!!

I can see Iji being a unique starter pokemon. In the beginning with diminished power and can only use water/fire/grass at the start for its ability but as you progress the game it unlocks the rest. Iji is so stinking cute i need them 😩.
the Iji is so good. especially with the "great child" annotation. it reminds me of the German word "wünderkind" which is literally "wonder child", as in they are just so gifted and talented, etc. really cool coincidence!
I love the designs! A design feature I miss from the official legendary beasts is the inclusion of colors not present on the eeveelution. Like Suicune's purple, Entei's brown and black, and Raikou's purple and light blue.
The word "anjo" means angel in portuguese and as a Brazilian guy I was shocked by how you could randomly come up with this name from totally different sources Fantastic art btw. Loved the psychic one, closest design to the originals
It could be fun to see the evolutions that haven't happened yet (which you did a video on a while back) as Legendary Beasts as well. As for a portal to the Fairy realm, Ireland has numerous stories of gates that open and close based on various factors, mostly in relation to the cycles and phases of the moon.

Then again that list might need some ground rules to follow tho: (01) Evolution Names: Just like Armarouge and Ceruledge, the Evolutions should follow the same naming convention in that each Evolution's name is a combination of 2 words (One referring to the Evolution's color scheme and the other referring to a weapon the Evolution is based on) (02) Armor Names: As with the Auspicious (Armarouge) & Malicious (Ceruledge) Armors, the other Armors (Which are, of course, used to evolve Charcadet into the other Evolutions) should likewise follow the same naming pattern (Each Armor's name ends with "-ious"). Also, in accordance with the In-Game Descriptions of the Auspicious & Malicious Armors, the other Armors should similarly be described as bearing contents described with the respective Armor's name ("Auspicious wishes" for the Auspicious Armor & "Malicious will" for the Malicious Armor) (03) Armor Materials: At the Zapapico town center, there is a man (Scarlet) / woman (Violet) who will trade the player Auspicious Armor (Scarlet) / Malicious Armor (Violet) in exchange for 10 Bronzor Fragments (Scarlet) / Sinistea Chips (Violet). As such, each of the other Armors should likewise require 10 of a specific TM Material (From a Pokémon that has 1 Type that corresponds to the Evolution's Secondary Type but in the case of the Pure Fire-Type, the TM Material should come from a Fire-Type Pokémon) (04) Color Themes: Since Armarouge & Ceruledge sport color schemes that correspond to the games they're each exclusive to (Scarlet & Violet, respectively), it stands to reason that 2 of the Evolutions should sport color schemes based on Teal & Indigo (Ostensibly as a nod to the "Teal Mask" & "Indigo Disk" Expansions) (05) Signature Moves: In accordance with Armarouge & Ceruledge having their own Fire-Type Signature Moves (Armor Cannon for Armarouge & Bitter Blade for Ceruledge), the other Evolutions should likewise have their own Fire-Type Signature Moves (Related to their respective weapon motifs)
The thought in these and the way things come together from different mythologies is just fantastic. The Espeon based one in particular is just perfection. Awesome work on this one 👍

I dont get why people gloss over the fact that the designer said he wanted a blend of silhouette of cats and dogs. Suicune got leopard spots, but his actual silhouette is closer to a hound. Entei gives a lion and mastiff mix. Raikou is the only one I think is pure cat.
Nice video. These look sick. I know they say Suicune is a leopard but by the look of its build and none retractable claws it actually looks more like a cheetah.
I can see cheetah mixed with wolf but that's just me because wolves are my favourite animal and I've always thought of Suicune as a wolf or wolf mix. I prefer the cheetah aspect over leopard though as I really like cheetahs too.

I was so confused during the Umbreon segment because Anjo also means Angel in some languages and i was trying to understand what that had to do with a ferocious night roaming jaguar 😂. Great video!
I think the best part of these videos is the indepth breakdown of the name creation process for authentic sounding Japanese inspired names. The Fakemon from my region are generally limited to local and English references, and puns.
Caracal's depending on what you go by aren't big cats, some say they are some say they aren't. I personally think that Big Cats are the cats that roar, so Lions, Tigers, Leopards & Jaguars. So stuff like Caracal's, Snow Leopard's, Cougars & Clouded Leopards are small cats. Also it's not really that Clouded Leopards are different, they just aren't leopard (Same with Snow Leopards). Leopards are Panthera Pardus, Snow Leopards are Panthera Uncia & Clouded Leopards are Neofelis Nebulosa (They're not even in the same genus. Also Snow Leopards are more like Tigers than Snow Leopards). Also the Egyptian Lady this Espeon is based on also being the daughter of a bird is kinda like Ho-oh making the Legendary Beasts.
in my opinion i fell like anjo would've look better with yellow mane and addons rather than light blue. You and rex did splendid job with Kenzu tho, the only downside is the tail that would've look better if it will start thick and then squish towards the end of it, but it's whatever.

Fun fact about the original hidden abilities of Raikou, Entei, and Suicune that adds evidence to the "resurrected Eeveelution" theory: those abilities of Volt Absorb, Flash Fire, and Water Absorb are the primary abilities of the respective Eeveelutions.
anjo is my absolute favourite out of all of these, simply because im a sucker for jaguars, and i Love the myth surrounding tezcatlipoca, and other ways mesoamerican people at the time worshipped and revered them. so youve got my gratitude for incorporating that info into its design! however, ive got one small criticism; the picture you used at 10:34 shows a leopard, not a jaguar ToT
So another thing about the legendary beasts is that they reflect the events of what happened to the old Burnt Tower. A lightning storm with pouring down rain caused the wooden tower to burst into flames by an unfortunate and cold twist of fate while three Pokemon were resting inside its walls. Then a miracle came to be by Ho-oh bestowing upon the fallen trio new life. That’s Raikou for the lightning, Suicune for the rain and Entei for the fire, but I did slip in the choice words there for a reason. Wooden tower for Leafeon’s beast, Unfortunate for Umbreon’s, Cold for Glaceon’s, ‘Twist of Fate’ for Espeon, and then Miracle for Sylveon. How’s that for clever?
I'd have to say my favorite was Iji. I've always had a soft spot for Eevee, and what you guys did for it was definitely awesome. Still so very cute and adorable, and just like with Eevee, makes me want to hug and snuggle the crap out of it. 🥰
1:53 I have a cat named Jasper who looks just like that. His fur is very smooth and he loves to cuddle (probably because the smoothness of his fur doesn’t provide any warmth for him).
Kenzu and Anjo especially impressed me, they fit so well next to the other legendary beasts it's astounding. Shinno's name is so clever and well though out as well!
If umbreons reincarnations mane was black that would’ve been even cooler and would’ve made even more sense with its “hard to be seen at night” with only its markings glowing. This was an amazing video and the creativity is great! Thanks!
Seeing you make new Pokemon of any category (X Pokemon of every type, turning X into Y) is just a joy to take in. Although, you do seem to miss a part of Pokemon that often goes underappreciated: the items. Using the right items at the right time can make or break a battle. Especially items that add extra effects or boost a type's power. And recently, a certain Pokemon has exemplified the importance of items in battle. In fact, getting her items back is the major plot of the latest game's first DLC. That's right, I'm referring to Ogerpon and her masks. We've only seen masks for four types (fire, water, rock, and grass), but what if she had more masks? Why not have a graceful flying mask? Or a spooky ghost mask? Why not up her cuteness and give her an adorable fairy-type mask? So, that should be the next "Of Every Type" video: an Ogerpon mask of every type!
The beasts' old hidden abilities were actually their supposed Eeveelution counterparts' regular abilities, rather than just a type-absorbing ability. Although, giving Mashu Cute Charm would just be useless...
How about a paradox form of the creation trio, a paradox feature and past of all of them, arceous would not make sense to have a past four cause in the movies in the anime, it has never changed when they went back in time And DONT ANYONE IN THE COMMENTS SAY THAT THE ORIGIN FORMS OF THEM ARE THE PARADOX PAST FORMS OK!
I named my first Umbreon that I evolved in Pokemon Go "Tezca" as a shortened version of Tezcatlipoca so I think it's cool that you also used Tezcatlipoca as inspiration for your Dark-type legendary beast.

In heart gold and soul silver, all three legendary beast had a variation theme of their battle theme to represent their type. So with these new legendary beats Mashu - The theme would have sparkling or feminine sounds like flutes or clarinets Shino - Drum beats to represent jungle canapy Hyouhi - Harp and xilophone to represent the cold Kenzu - Sitar and guitar to represent a balance and relaxed mind Anjo - Bass guitar to represent stealth and sneakiness of dark types. Iji - Regular main legendary theme
Now you gotta make prehistoric paradox forms for all of these legendary beast evolutions. We already have a therapod dinosaur, a sauropod and a ceratopsian. Now we need a pterosaur, a stegosaur, an ankylosaur, a hadrosaur, a dromaeosaur(raptor) and maybe for paradox Iji you could make him a type of Archosaur like euparkaria, an ancestor to all dinosaurs alike.

It's a 10/10 from me and definitely my favorite of this bunch of legendaries. I'm not a Sylveon fan but Mashu came out excellent👏 I kind of lost interest in Espeon and Umbreon to be honest, but Kenzu and Anjo are amazing. Specially Anjo who has a killer design😎 Glaceon is one of my favorite Eeveelutions (I plan on getting one next time I play Pokemon Platinum) and Hyougi is just beautiful. I specially love the snow-like fur that continues as the tail. Sorry Iji doesn't convince me. It looks like a monochrome mini-Entei with a crown and rainbow collar😅 The ability of gaining all the types is dope and fitting though. Happy 2024 everyone!!

I always liked the idea of the Legendary Beasts having been Eeveelutions. Totally not partially because I love the Eeveelutions anyway, lol. I never did like when detractors of the theory says that the episode of that one anime that shows their origin didn't have the silhouettes resemble Eeveelutions, though, because it's like, "What Pokemon *do* those silhouettes resemble other than generic quadrupeds? It's meant to be a mystery. If the silhouettes resembled any canon Pokemon in particular, then it wouldn't be a mystery for the same reason the 'Who's That Pokemon?' segment was easy." That aside, though, I really like all of these Legendary Beast incarnations. They're all every bit as cute as I find Raikou, Entei, and Suicune to be.
something I think could be very interesting for the Espeon reencarnation if it's hidden ability wasn't Mind-Meld could be an ability that increases their speed whenever their Sp.Atk is increased. This mostly came to my mind as when you mentioned the quicker Kenzu thinks, the faster it runs. So the idea of having its speed increased by 1 stage everytime is Sp.Atk is increased I thought would fit it perfectly.
Just taking time to point out that English is clearly not the _only_ complicated language humans have devised. Also, "Mashu" made me think of Avatar: the Last Airbender with the city of Omashu, which is convenient considering the city in its media was created as a symbol of the love between two members of opposing tribes. It is quite fitting for the Fairy typing, even if by proxy.
